YES!!! This movie is amazing and is easily my second fav Marvel movie after Thor Ragnarok. This is how you do a proper female superhero movie! (Not that I didn't enjoy Wonder Woman but this is so much better)
My favourite scene was probably when she fights with Jude Law and he's like "prove to me you can beat me without using your powers" and she punches him back and says "I don't need to prove anything to you!" -- I was so happy at that scene because for me this just felt like it could be SO empowering for young girls and the whole movie does too in fact.
I'm still a bit high from watching this but I def don't agree with what y'all are saying about Brie, she was just phenomenal imo.

I like the studio version of this but I find the live MGP version quite.. cringey? It doesn't feel very polished and while Tom and Alexandra are both great vocalists Fred (the Sami yodeler) wasn't the strongest. I really hope they do something a lot more interesting in Tel Aviv or I fear this might even be a shock DNQ.

Apparently Shuga wins, Brook/Yvie lipsync (Brook supposedly does Celine Dion and bombs) and it's a double shantay. I can imagine Shuga doing a kind of out there campy icon and nailing it so I could believe that.
I mean at least I can't imagine her doing a worse Celine than Milk did :lol:

This has stayed relatively consistent in most ways. 2001 and 2002 still keep the bottom two slots only with an added 1999 now which drops 6 spots after losing a lot of songs in the last 100 slots. 2017 climbs a bit higher into the Top 10 while 2011 slides down 7-10. 2016 remains the highest year as the only year with 30+ songs remaining. 2000 and 2003 are likely to be the next to drop to 10 songs as they only need to lose one more song to do that. 2006 remains the only year out of the noughties to place Top 10 and 2011 is now the lowest placing 2010s year.

Quite a lot of changes as we moved into the average tier in the Top 500. Serbia remains the only country to have not lost a single song and Monaco is still the only country to have lost all of theirs although both Andorra and Slovakia remain on their last leg here. Montenegro and Portugal also inch closer to extinction than ever so it's interesting to see if any of these countries lose their final songs in the next 100 eliminations or not.
Some of the biggest drops of the Top 500 belong to Poland (36-43), Israel (32-41), Georgia (31-39), Croatia (26-37), Malta (18-32) and perhaps the biggest drop in the lower half: Belarus (11-25). These have all lost a lot of mediocre songs but still have some very strong contenders left which might hold the competition back for a while. Droping out of the Top 10 now are: Ukraine (9-12) which lost three songs since last count; Norway (6-15) which lost 5 of its' 7 eliminees between 500 and 400; and Denmark (2-15) who were in second place at the Top 500 having only lost one song but now they've lost 6 more. New in the top 10 however are Iceland (13-6), Armenia (16-9) and Australia (15-10), none of which lost any songs since the last count. This goes for all of our Top 4 as well. Some other notable climbers include San Marino (27-13), Romania (23-14), Spain (28-17), Hungary (33-20) and Belgium (39-29) who have all either lost no entries since the Top 500 (San Marino, Hungary & Belgium) or only one song (Romania & Spain) which explains the rise.
The countries with the most losses in the last 100 eliminations are Denmark and Malta with 6 each, followed by Croatia, Israel, Norway and Poland with 5 each. Together they make up for almost 1/3 of all the eliminees since #500.

Not much of note here but interestingly the runners-up are beating both third and first placers even if only by one song. The highest non-top ten position is twelfth followed by (surprisingly) twenty-sixth placers (aka. the absolute last place you can get in the final) which has an advantage since it only has 9 entries but still 7 of those are still in it. The lowest placing top ten position is eighth place which has lost 12 songs so far and the lowest placing positions in total are twenty-fourth placers followed closely by seventeenth and fifteenth placers (who were top 10 last count). DNQ's have now taken the last place after being a bit higher in the last count, but as you can see the difference between DNQ's and twenty-fourth placers is only 0.1%.

I don't think Iceland will be quite so polarising as people think as it does have a great beat, great show and they are very likeable. The televoters will love them especially in such a weak semi, and the jury will either love or hate them (AWS didn't place dead last in 2018 with the juries and the televoters placed them 5th for example). I think there will be quite a bit of differences between the juries and televoters on who should qualify because there are just so many slow songs lol. Montenero and Finland seem like the obvious last placers to me.

So me and a few friends + my mom and sister actually went through all 41 songs and rated them 1-10 (we do this every year) and the results were pretty interesting to say the least. There were a total of 7 people all with different musical interests but it was fun to see which songs we liked collectively and which ones bombed. Everyone was hearing these songs for the first time except for me and take note that most of these people are very much a casual viewer (i.e. not a superfan like some of us lol).
01. Iceland (Avg. 9.86) - This is the least surprising. Everyone gave it 10 except me who gave it 9 lol.
02. Azerbaijan (Avg. 9.29) - This wasn't far off from Iceland. Everyone loved this and it's very instant.
03. Netherlands (Avg. 8.86) - I told everyone prior to the song that this was being tipped as a winner. Didn't turn anyone off. Lowest score was 7.5.
04. Italy (Avg. 8.21) - Two people gave this 6 but everyone enjoyed it.
05. Malta (Avg. 8.00) - Only one of my friends didn't like this but the reactions when that drop came were amazing.
06. Cyprus (Avg. 7.79) - Everyone but one person liked this (he gave it 4.5) but they did notice that it was similar to Fuego lol.
07. Sweden (Avg. 7.43) - One of the few songs they had heard prior as most had watched Melodifestivalen. Everyone liked how happy and likeable he is.
08. Switzerland (Avg. 7.29) - Some said the singer felt a bit cringey to watch but the song was a bop to most ears except one who gave it 3.
09. Czech Republic (Avg. 6.93) - Was not expecting this but I was one of the few who gave it low scores lol. The video was very enjoyable though.
10. Germany (Avg. 6.79) - The biggest shock for me. They all loved this. Liked the harmony and said they liked what they were doing with the stage.
11. Austria (Avg. 6.64) - I dragged the score down lol but they all liked her and felt this was very emotional.
12. Slovenia (Avg. 6.57) - They all liked this but were waiting for something bigger to happen. Some felt it started off well but dragged on.
13. Belgium (Avg. 6.57) - Same problem as with Slovenia, they felt it dragged on a bit but most gave it a positive score.
14. Armenia (Avg. 6.50) - Very divisive. Five people gave it very high scores but two gave it very low scores. Those who liked it were very impressed with that note change.
15. Romania (Avg. 6.43) - Was surprised that most people liked this as it was one of the last songs we listened to after a lot of ballads but this stood out to everyone but one person.
16. San Marino (Avg. 6.43) - We all kind of unironically liked this. No one gave it exceptionally high scores as we were all very even. It stood out in a sea of ballads.
17. Greece (Avg. 6.36) - Everyone either loved or hated this. Very divisive. Someone said her voice reminded them of Jess Glynn but the song sounded very Florence + The Machine.
18. Hungary (Avg. 6.29) - Most agreed his previous song was much better but this got very divisive points from us.
19. Estonia (Avg. 6.00) - Most notably people just thought he was cute. Someone said it was very me lol. People thought it was a bit generic.
20. France (Avg. 5.71) - Everyone gave it very average scores except two who thought it was beautiful.
21. Poland (Avg. 5.64) - I gave this the worst score lol (3.5). They thought this was a bit punk. One person gave it 9.
22. Spain (Avg. 5.29) - Some people loved this while others hated it. I gave it the highest score lol (9.5).
23. Norway (Avg. 5.29) - Probably the biggest shocker to me. Only me and one other person gave it more than 5. Most thought it was cheesy and cringeworthy. The staging put them off and most felt it would be better without the bald guy.
24. Latvia (Avg. 5.07) - Some thought it reminded them of First Aid Kit. People either kind of liked it or kind of didn't. Nobody hated it.
25. Belarus (Avg. 5.00) - One person gave this a zero but the others were all kind of meh. Sixes all around.
26. Albania (Avg. 4.86) - Everyone liked her voice but the song wasn't a hit. Most gave it either a 5 or 4.
27. Ireland (Avg. 4.79) - The first three gave this high scores and then the remaining four gave it very low scores lmao.
28. Australia (Avg. 4.57) - Another divisive song. People either loved it or hated it. Some felt it was good until the ze-he-he-he ro-ho-ho-ho part started.
29. Israel (Avg. 4.57) - Almost everyone was either meh or hated it except one person who marked this as their third highest rated song. Last song we listened to.
30. Serbia (Avg. 4.43) - Most common comment: "beautiful voice but terribly boring song).
31. Russia (Avg. 4.14) - Highest this got was a 5. Everyone felt the song went nowhere but they did like the video.
32. Croatia (Avg. 4.07) - People liked his voice but felt the song was very dated. One person gave this a 7 but one gave it 1 as well.
33. Portugal (Avg. 4.00) - For one person this was the third best song but for most it was either a love or hate. Two people gave it 1 (me included). People thought this was very weird.
34. Lithuania (Avg. 4.00) - People didn't like how this was shot and the song they thought was very boring. Only one person gave this more than 5.
35. Finland (Avg. 3.71) - Nobody gave this 5 or above. People were very disappointed and thought it was cringey and generic.
36. United Kingdom (Avg. 3.57) - People liked his voice but felt this was very Idol winner single-ish. Four people gave this a 3.
37. Moldova (Avg. 3.00) - Most people noped on this immediately. I gave this its' highest score (5) lmao.
38. Denmark (Avg. 2.43) - This got one of only two 0's out of all songs. Even my sister, who lives in Denmark, hated this.
39. Georgia (Avg. 2.14) - We didn't even finish half of this song because nobody wanted to hear more than a minute of this. Three 1's. Highest was a 5.
40. Montenegro (Avg. 1.86) - Everyone was unsure whether this was a serious entry. Nobody gave this more than 1.
41. North Macedonia (Avg. 1.71) - Nobody liked this at all. One person gave this a 0 while the rest all gave it 2.

Yeah that was quite an episode!
- Britney team was an obvious winner even only 1 minute into their performance. SO good!
- Vanjie was an obvious stand-out in the challenge and had me in stitches the entire time. Feel like she should have won this.
- I think Plastique was really the only one to actually make an effort and even though sure her character didn't work I feel like it's mainly because everything else was so bad that it was like a domino effect. She made a character that would have worked if the rest of her team mates hadn't f***ed everything else up too lol.
- Shuga and Akeria slayed that runway! OMG *.*
- Would have preferred Rajah to go as she annoys me but Honey definitely effed that mess of a lipsync. As soon as she jumped down I was like ok she's gone.
