a few more stats.. one nation loses five of the songs they vote for. another loses only their 12 pointer and 1 pointer. one nation loses none of the songs they vote for but in turn fails to qualify themselves two nations manage to get through the semis without losing a single song they voted for while also qualifying! the most common point score among the DNQ's is 3 points (19 times). this applies to both semi finals combined. the least common point score among the DNQ's is 12 points (4 times), followed by 6 points (7 times) and surprisingly 1 point (9 times).

Some fun facts as we wait for the results show to start.. The lowest scoring qualifier got 51 points in Semi 1 and 54 points in Semi 2. The highest scoring non-qualifier got 45 points in Semi 1 and 53 points in Semi 2. The lowest scoring non-qualifier got 10 points in Semi 1 and 15 points in Semi 2. Only one song received a penalty this round as everyone else voted within the time-frame given. Elëdan voted late, so they will receive a 15% penalty. A total of four nations are losing their 12 pointers tonight. One song received points from only one other nation. Three non-qualifiers received votes from 10 different nations, while two nations qualified despite receiving points from only 7 different nations. For comparison the most voted-for song received votes from 19 different nations. Less than two hours to go until our forty qualifiers are revealed.
