Anyone lacking the festive spirit? Well, how about a christmas spin-off then to get you in the mood? It's time for the fourth edition of the Christmas Spin-Off (even though the last one was indeed labeled as the second edition, Dan pointed out in the confirmation thread that the first one was sometime long long ago). The last one was in 2019 where Terra Avium won the whole thing with "Christmas Medley" by Two Steps From Hell. Confirmations are officially open and they will be open until NEXT FRIDAY December 17 2021. However, before I can let you all at it let's go over the song selection rules. Since this is a spin-off the Veto process is a bit more relaxed than in a normal edition. However, to ensure we don't got somebody trying to send "All I Want For Christmas" here, there are a few rules: All songs must be related to winter and/or the holidays in some way. However, the songs do not HAVE to be about Christmas, but they can also be about winter, Thanksgiving, New Years Eve, Kwanzaa, Hannukah, yuletime or any other winter festival.No songs that have reached the UK or US top 10, and no songs that have reached the top 40 in either country in the past 10 years.No songs that have previously been submitted to a BJSC Christmas spin-off (list will be provided in the next post).
