Twilight: Saga Eclipse Inception Amélie

I'm rubbish at reviews but hey here goes. The start was a little hit and miss at first, probably because I was wondering when the narrator would stop :lol: Narration aside, I did enjoy the young Amelie story getting us into why she was so shy later in life. But the Canadian tourist suicide :lol: did bring a chuckle (a little wrong I know :lol:). The story did drag a little in the middle with me just wishing Amelie would get together with her monsieur. Cinematography and the effects throughout were rather good though, from the talking lamps to the photographs. I did like the whole gnome thing when it clicked at the end with her Dad finally going off travelling. A nice touch there! I live in a similar style shy bubble so I can relate to parts of it so I wouldn't say it was beyond the realms of possibility for a real life Amelie out there. Only the 4th foreign film I've seen, but it's up against a good trio (Downfall, Grave Of The Fireflies, Pans Labyrinth). I'd probably put ahead of Downfall, but I didn't connect to it as well as the first two above. Still I would recommend giving it a watch, seeing as you can get it really cheap now. 7.5/10

Where do places like Tesco get the money to slash their CD's and stuff, that's right they bung it on to your loaf of bread, your pints of milk etc. And their product knowledge, well yeah, not that good from my personal experience. Suppliers need to stop bowing down to supermarkets demands too, their attitude to suppliers is we'll give you x amount of money, or nothing. And vultures be gone please!

Looks like CHeryl and Sarah's have both been discontinued. Only available from 3rd party sellers on Play and Amazon. Ordered my Sarah one just in time! Should hopefully arrive before the end of the week!

2011 seems to be starting with a load of nonsense on the box. This, The Magicians (like what?), The Big Fish Fight! and loads more of examples I can't be bothered to type.

Amelie as I've bought it but never watched it, and this will set me in the mood to sit down and watch it. Will get the winning one if it isn't Amelie!

Can't say I've seen the physical arrive at work either with all these bank holidays and stuff. Shall know when I'm back in on Tuesday!
