Avril Lavigne // Goodbye Lullaby
I disagree with some parts of his post. Just because this song flops in UK doesn't mean it's a flop overall and she isn't relevant anymore. Her key markets are Japan, US, Canada, UK, Italia, Germany, Austrailia and may be Hong Kong, China and Taiwan. Avril is still huge in Japan and the rest of Asia. What The Hell actually did better than GF in their first weeks. She isn't as huge as she used to in other countries but the song is obviously doing pretty well/ok in US, Canada, Australia, NZ, Italia and Germany. UK is the only key market that she's flopped. Even that, the song isn't flop that hard in UK. They chose the worst time to release it in UK with no banner/airplay or even a tweet for it (she tweeted later but it's too late) so her peak position sucks hard but it's holding pretty well in the chart. You can see that it's higher than Brit's HIAM now. The song haven't died yet... So i'm sure the era won't be huge but i think she'll have a decent era when everything is done :)

Do you think the album will debut at #1 in UK this time. I hear that she's done pretty well for pre-order alone

Avril Lavigne // Goodbye Lullaby
She had a full week promo in France and it kind of worked. Her song's flying to #15 there but i don't see a busy week in UK. She's probabely off to Italy now :-/. Can't believe she promoted in France more than in UK while her sales in UK is bigger than in France. What the hell ?

Avril Lavigne // Goodbye Lullaby
Under My Skin and TBDT are definitely the most anticipate albums back to 2004 and 2007. This era won't explode but it's not neccessarily a bad thing. It's not like the album will die immediately like Bionic. All she needs is promoting but i don't see a lot of promo in other countries beside Japan :puke2: Without a heavy promo and a hype, WTH still can go back to Top 5 in US and with the Grammy storm. It's still staying strong in Top 10. The era may not be massive like her first three but it shouldn't flop too :cheer: . She has a decent hit single and her name to support the album

Avril Lavigne // Goodbye Lullaby
#36 on itunes and i doubt that the video is gonna help. Thanks the label for totally messing up her success in Europe. They released it too soon without any promotion and even a banner on itunes and they think it's gonna work ?? Not even in Top 50 airplay and please tell me that i'm wrong coz i think it's not a good sign at all :-/
