iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 12th May 2013
I think Stooshe need some TV promo, I think Slip is Ok but a bit outdated, Black heart was old skool too but far better and I won't comment on Waterfalls. Good to see Demi in the Top 3, her new album sounds great, so hopefully we see more of her in the charts this year.

Your not alone with that one, me too, I find all the fuss quite funny actually. I myself haven't brought the single and I don't want to but my own mother has said if I download it, she pay me back the 79p, she's been trying to make me download it, all week as she hates Thatcher. Regardless whatever people think of the women, fan or not, she made reasons for people to hate her, so for those who hated her when she was alive, I don't expect them to suddenly respect her when she's dead, even if that sounds wicked and distasteful, some will argue with how she treated people when she was Prime Minister was wicked.

How you remind me is a classic, it actually deserves to re enter the chart again imo.

I agree that and My Kind Of Love, are my Favs from Her, however I think she perform one of her more recent popular hits or Clown as its her current single atm.

Nice to have Justin back in the charts, I love the itunes top 2 atm, Just listened to JT's song and I like it, can't wait for his album, I wasn't expecting him to release a song so soon after announcing that his coming back this year, I thought we would be waiting a few months for new material.

I would like to see Shontelle crack the top 10 with the original Impossible, much better version then James's IMO. I really like Will.i.am and Britney's Scream and Shout, so it would be a shame if it misses out on the #1 but if it doesn't make it next week due to the X Factor winner's song, then it has a better chance of going to #1 in the new year. I'm sure the clubs will be rocking it out in the new year celebrations.

This years X Factor guest performances boosts
They've basically recycled all their previous guest performers for the final, how boring but then again X Factor is very boring now and I think this years final, will be boring too. Having said that, I'm a big Emeli Sande fan, so I'm interesting to see, what she will perform, I just hope she doesn't sing with any of the finalists/contestants and do a Read All About it with them, as their cover on the X Factor Advert is just awful.

That sounds great to me

I have to say I think Emeli Sande is fantastic, I've loved all the songs she has done and featured on, that I've dediced to buy her deluxe album today as I've often downloaded her singles. Love the song with Labrinth, first time I heard it on the X Factor tonight, so pleased to see it at #1, she's the best new female artist this year by far imo.

Adele - Skyfall :no1: Would be good if it could enter number 1 this Sunday but I won't hold my breath.

Amelia has done well, if she had as much promo such as Little Mix when they release Wings, Daybreak, Red & Black performance slots etc, she would of easily got to #1 officially, so a top 3 position, is an achievement. I think they will be pushing her next single more due to the success of YBMJ. I don't mind The Script claiming the #1 this Sunday.

With the amount of times Tulisa has RT and tweeted about downloading Live It Up today, I think that does prove that she does care where it charts and may be a little desperate with getting a top ten because she never did that when Young was released.

iTunes Weekly Thread: W/C 9th September 2012
She preformed it on Lorraine this morining, so that was a bit of promo.

iTunes Weekly Thread: W/C 9th September 2012
Tulisa is not a big enough name, for such a poor song imo to just shoot up into the top 10, like people expected. Young was a catchy dance song but it was much better then this follow up, she might say she doesn't care where it charts but deep down I'm sure she does otherwise she wouldn't of mentioned it at all, big global stars, who have been around for some time, don't care as much where they chart in the Uk but for Tulisa who has only just started her solo career, being a judge on The X Factor, having a #1 Debut single, her 2nd single underproforming in the Uk before she releases her debut album, doesn't look good for someone aiming for a long successful solo career on home turf. She is flopping, so she should care.

I won't be surprised if Coldplay album tops the chart, this closing ceremony has been all about them.
-
iTunes Weekly Thread: W/C 9th September 2012
:o Amelia might just go #1 soon, looks like a surprised hit for many, who might thought it wouldn't of done so well

iTunes Weekly Thread: W/C 9th September 2012
I don't think it's got anything to do with being likeable, it's about having a better song imo, You Bring Me Joy is easily better then Home Run, I was a fan of both girls on the X Factor, even though Misha's was 59p I couldn't buy it because I didn't like it unlike Amelia's what is at full price, Strong radio support does help but at the end of the day, people got to like the song to download and support.

iTunes Weekly Thread: W/C 9th September 2012
Never heard of them, will look up the song to listen to it

iTunes Weekly Thread: W/C 9th September 2012
I'm rooting for Amelia, it probably won't go #1 but at least top 5 would be good, I hope it's not too front loaded.

iTunes Weekly Thread: W/C 22nd July 2012
I did Love Rita's How We Do when I first heard it, months ago, but I played it so much, that now that it's near it's UK release, it's lost it's greatness imo, It will go number 1 but will only stay there for more then one week, if it has no serious competition, like how the charts are currently now, static and boring.
-
iTunes Weekly Thread: W/C 15th July 2012
I agree also, I hope it's a great classic at #1, Someone Like You is far to recent, it wouldn't be right.

iTunes Weekly Thread: W/C 15th July 2012
I hope Misha B does well, I don't like the song but it will save people who don't like her from gloating if it under performs on the chart, her position will be compared with the future releases from Little Mix and Amelia, so she needs a decent position, I might just download it as its 59p to support, even though the song is not my taste. I don't think Payphone deserves to remain at number 1, it's a Shame Moves Like Jagger didn't hit the top spot last year, Maroon 5 have had far better songs over the years and one of their worst songs imo gets to stay at the top longer then it should, I don't mind Florence or Misha for next week's number 1, just as long as Maroon 5 are not still there.

iTunes Chart: Weekly Thread W/C 29th April 2012
I think it's quite laughable that someone has compared Tulisa going solo to Justin and Beyonce, when Tulisa has not had any international success, outside of the UK not many people know who she is, Justin and Beyonce never had that problem and they are super talented and mega stars outright, so far this year I have not been impressed with the majority of the songs hitting #1.
