  1. I think it was for the past year, so not sure if Disora had been properly established in the time frame used. But yes, I did wonder about Disora. I also wondered about Jade's Bar in South Shields. Didn't quite expect them to be bang on exactly the same wealth. Yes Leigh-Anne is now 31, and coupled with LM not being together anymore, the girls entered Separately.
  2. TLC being the only featured girl group!
  3. https://heatworld.com/celebrity/news/heat-rich-list-2022/ Perrie and Jade are joint #15 on the Heat under 30 rich list. Each worth £17.5mill.
  4. Which is why I always found it interesting that in her documentary, she kept saying "I won the x-factor", instead of "WE won the x-factor".
  5. Did Melanie C have a successful solo career compared to the other spices? Or was it more because she seemed to have the most passion for music? (as she had the best voice) Ginger had decent success as well - especially in the beginning. I just have this feeling they'll be like Destiny's Child - continuing to be friends and being at each other's events but never re-uniting musically. I don't know why that thought and where it's come from, but I hope it's false!
  6. Vocally, Jesy's is the worst of the three seen so far. But yeah she's always had good performance skills and stage presence. I think I knew about the dance background as well.
  7. I don't know about the financial angle though. There would definitely be more buzz and media attention if the re-union is all four original members.
  8. I suppose Taylor Swift and Arctic Monkeys will be displacing this album from the 2022 top 5 UK albums.
  9. Why oh why is Molly in the Dance-off?!?!
  10. But again, it might be inevitable to avoid clashing with one of the other three. Might not get released the same week, but might end up being few weeks apart, and so might still compete in the charts
  11. How involved are artistes themselves in decisions like this? Because despite all she's done, I really don't think she would want that.
  12. Really good. I wasn't as sold as Kelly, but I also wasn't as "unsold" as Tulisa and Louis. I suppose it's all hindsight, not knowing how good she is now. I think it was good she got put in a group tbf. Her voice has really grown. Perrie as bubbly as ever!
  13. Wow wow. Leigh-Anne has always been the ambitious one. Female Justin Beiber 😃. She's so cute and sweet. Great energy. Vocals weren't that bad, especially when compared with auditions of other artists that ended up in bands/groups. Loved it!
  14. Felt weird seeing her on her own on the red carpet. I suppose it'll take some getting used to. For some reason, it wouldn't have felt particularly unusual if it was Jade or Leigh-Anne.
  15. Just discovered a tribute band called Little Fix! They're on YouTube
  16. LITTLE SWITCH Little Mix used secret body double of Jesy Nelson on single cover after she failed to show up. THROUGHOUT their decade long careers Little Mix made everything look easy. Which makes it even more impressive that they managed to pull off using fake Jesy Nelson in one of their music videos after she failed to turn up on set. The Sweet Melody singers drafted in a double for the single art of their 2019 single Bounce Back and in the accompanying vertical music video after the singer was a no show. I can reveal stressed record label bosses were forced to hold a crisis meeting before cooking up a plan to dupe fans and try and carry on as normal. With Jesy nowhere to be seen the decision was made that Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock would pose for the art with their backs to the camera and a fourth person was drafted in to take on the role of Jesy. A source said: "Little Mix video shoots were always stressful for the girls due to the pressure of having to look perfect on camera but Bounce Back was a new level. "Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie were all ready on set waiting for Jesy and the next thing they were told was that she wasn't coming. No one really knew what to do so bosses quickly called a meeting to try and come up with a plan. In the end it was decided Jesy could film her part in the video at a later date and a fake Jesy would be used for the single art. "No one felt comfortable about tricking fans but everyone agreed it was for the best and would keep the truth top secret." A spokesperson said: "Jesy missed that particular filming day because she was feeling unwell." Jesy previously spoke frankly about her hating music videos in her Odd One Out BBC Documentary - admitting she wasn't happy with the main Bounce Back video. Jesy said: "I know people look up to popstars like us and feel under pressure to look as good as we do in our music videos but that's after hours and hours of hair and make-up and lighting. "Personally, I still feel a lot of pressure to look good all the time. I have never ever liked doing music videos. If you don't feel good it is really hard to pretend to feel amazing." 17. The twins mama is ageing backwards! She'd pass for a teenager.
  18. She'd miss LM5 Tour then..
  19. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thesun.co....uble-video/amp/ I always suspected something was off about that photo
  20. Ed Sheeran had six singles released in 2019 alone. All went top five, and four of them went to #1. In the past 16 months, Becky Hill has had 7 singles out - all of which have had decent chart performances, with only one not making top 40. I'm sure there are other examples. Promotion? They did a number of radio interviews (even whilst being moms), and 2/3 of them posted all singles on Social Media. All singles had videos, and had some playlisting, but they failed to rise - even after Christmas! Their time (for the moment) was up, and a break (whether official or not) was a good idea.
  21. Sweet Melody has had way more streams on Spotify than its YouTube views, which makes me think the public warmed up to the song regardless. I still think it would have reached number 1 if the video was bad. So Love (Sweet Love) and No were in my opinion, not affected by their videos. I don't think its oversaturation either. Heartbreak Anthem and Kiss My Uh Oh were collaborations that benefited from the other artistes linked to the songs. Anne-Marie is a UK radio stations fave, and the song even only reached number 10 after the girl power remix. Ten years is long enough for any manufactured pop band to get to its natural decline. It's the way it is, even if the songs are still good. The start of the Confetti era was the hint the decline was inevitable. BUS and Holiday were in my opinion, better than a lot of the songs in the charts at the time, but they both didn't get the peak I think they deserved. And I still don't think it's to do with the videos. Sweet Melody was overwhelmingly good that it provided some sort of reset, which paved the way for Confetti single to have a decent performance. This was of course boosted by the headlines made fromJesy leaving and the pregnancies. If Jesy had not left, and there were no pregnancies, their decline would have been much more abysmal.
  22. I still prefer the original version with Jesy. Little Mix voices as a four work so well. Just wish there was an OT4 live performance of this song before Jesy left!
  23. Since September is disbanding...
  24. Exactly my relationship with Wings. Same with SOTME. And they both are important landmarks in Little Mix history.
  25. This clip here doesn't sound different from a lot of songs on the radio that make it to the top 10.
