  1. Nothing wrong with Michelle Williams. She can sing, can dance, and has some charisma too. Who wouldn't be overshadowed when put in a group with Beyoncé?!
  2. Lol. Nobody is saying anybody NEEDS to publicly wish anyone a happy birthday. You're taking it even deeper than I am Slayer! It's still optics regardless. I mean Perrie never misses out on Leigh-Anne's anyway, but has done a few times with Jade. Just an observation; and specifically with reference to the post re Perrie acknowledging the girls. LOL again, nobody is making assumptions about anyone's relationship, except of course Slayer who has said "It's clear Alex loves Perrie". I haven't talked about who loves who and who doesn't. It's an impression I'm getting from what I've seen, not an assumption. They're different. And yes, I still stand by everything I've said.
  3. I honestly don't get the impression that Alex is into her that much. Of course I'm probably just over-analysing.
  4. She could have started by wishing Jade a happy birthday on December 26!
  5. Power of New Year's eve. I hope it gets a reset. It's definitely returning to the charts by Friday.
  6. So Ed Sheeran has been number one for 19 weeks in 2021, with four singles, and all around the same time (from summer till Christmas). Have we ever seen such singles chart domination before?!
  7. This song is so good. So so good! Can never be said enough!
  8. AIWFC is now #15 on Apple Music.
  9. I do not want SOTME, Black Magic or Touch to be performed if they're getting a slot. The nation already knows they ace their performances. I just want whatever doubters left out there to realise how powerful their vocals are. I'm not sure which would be most appropriate for that though; but I'd really prefer any solid song released from Break Up Song till date, and which would showcase their vocals. If they're lucky enough to have time for two songs/medley, then they can do a choreo-heavy song and a vocals-focused one.
  10. Official Big Top 40 - Top songs of 2021: #8 Heartbreak Anthem #20 Confetti #28 Kiss My Uh Oh. I kind of thought Sweet Melody would make it though. Interesting how Ed Sheeran is littered everywhere lol.
  11. There's only one Christmas album ahead, so not just how much things will change for the better after Christmas.
  12. Merry Christmas beautiful mixers! As you party or chill or reflect or whatever else you do, remember to stream OIBM, No and Love Sweet Love for clear skin. 😘
  13. I'm sorry that we keep diverting this conversation, but I just heard her do a cover of Adele's Easy On Me on YouTube. Y'all go and watch/listen for yourselves 🤭
  14. I know. It was tongue in cheek.
  15. Maybe because they know they won't win lol.
  16. Also, why are they even not in best pop? Because their best performing song this year was a dance song, and the pop ones flopped? If they got nominated, that's the only one they could have had a chance of winning, cos it's fan-voted.
  17. Dua Lipa still had a nomination for Physical. Artists don't usually get more than one nomination for British single especially if lead artists. Also, Adele's Easy On Me, and actually Shout out to my ex were both released in October in their respective years and got nominated (with shout out to my ex winning). Also, don't forget that last year's window was extended to include when Sweet Melody got to number 1. So surely it should have had a nomination for 2021. I don't know if labels send eligible songs and so maybe they had sent Break Up Song since it was the lead? In any case, it's a bit annoying.
  18. Nominated for British Group and International Song. Such a shame Sweet Melody neither got a nomination 2022 nor 2021. It was a #1 single, went platinum quickly, was in the top 10 for a long time, and is such a good song. The Brits keeps snubbing the girls, using them as underdogs, yet still using them for promotions on social media. They're not winning any of these awards, and I don't think they're performing either. I hope they prove me wrong with the latter!

My predictions: Album of the year: 30 - Adele Artist of the year: Ed Sheeran Group of the year: Coldplay Song of the Year: Bad Habits - Ed Sheeran Best Pop/RnB: Ed Sheeran Best dance act: Joel Corry/Raye Best new artist: Little Simz Best Rock/alternative: ....... Best HipHop: Dave International artist: Olivia Rodrigo International Group: ABBA International Song: Good 4 U Edit: This is purely based on assumptions on degrees of success. Ed with two #1 singles (three if you include the Christmas one), a number one album, and 15 weeks at the top surely counts for something. But again, I'm sure they'd want some degree of diversity and representation, and my list is actually straight white male dominated!

    Oops they're in!
  22. I'm looking at the post on Brits Instagram. Icon for HA is in there, but the song isn't mentioned.
  23. Lyrically, NAPS is good, and the song itself has/had so much potential. It was ruined by that "I don't give a what", and I do not like Jesy's vocals in the song. I think another personal reason is that I was going through some shit at the time it was released, and so do not need any reminders in that regard!
  24. I think her suicide attempt was much earlier on in her career, and I'm sure she's definitely grown a thicker skin. She (and the rest of the girls) still gets torn apart on dailymail and the likes on a daily basis. But yeah I've just returned to the upload of the performance on YouTube, and she really is getting attacked. Even reactors like Honest Vocal Coach and Zack Campbell are mocking her dance moves. I personally didn't see anything wrong with her dance moves- or maybe more correctly- her dance wasn't different from the Jesy dance we've known for years. I suppose when you go solo, you haven't got the others to share the attention/criticisms with.
  25. Difficult one. I generally don't like their lead singles. I will go with the songs I actually have on my personal playlists: 1. Break Up Song 2. Love Sweet Love 3. Black Magic/Shout Out/Woman Like Me - I can't make up my mind with these three 6. Move/ Wings - same as above. 4.
