Jade in one of those recent interviews about the songs they will perform on tour mentioned "album tracks" and fitting everything in. I wonder if it's confetti album tracks then. Seems it's still going ahead as confetti tour.

The fact that Adele is still number 1 on Amazon pre-orders 2 days to ABBA album release is a bold statement! Usually the artist whose album is coming that week is number 1, especially if a big artist.

Nobody is selling 200,000 in week 2 in 2021 UK. Even if Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston were to rise from death and do a duet album together, still not moving 200,000 units

I feel a bit conflicted. Part of me knows they've truly earned a hiatus, and part of me also knows that most (?all) groups eventually get to that point. I don't really see any of them being huge musically as a soloist. The music industry is unfortunately ageist when it comes to women and the start of their solo career. Of course this much talked about solo might be other non-music endeavours. I don't know how well Leigh-Anne's swimwear line is doing, cos I've heard rumours it's struggling. I guess they'd probably also do other TV-related bits and bobs. Reunions after hiatus can go either way. For some, it's huge; for others it's ridiculously poor. Anf for some, the reunion never even materialises. LM is still the only established and active girl band in this country.

Apparently Ed Sheeran has done just about 85000 by today's midweek update. I expect his total by Friday will struggle to go beyond 200,000. Will be interesting to see how this all pans out.

It's a shame her first solo single is about Boyz, and samples another song. Saying that, the song is actually growing on me. It's very dance-y, and should work well in night clubs.
