Solo artists go on hiatus all the time without necessarily announcing they're going away. I don't remember Adele saying she was going on hiatus (or did she?); also Rihanna, etc. I'd prefer they don't announce a hiatus, but take it really easy after the tour. Maybe one or two singles a year? Take their time and make an album and more albums without any rush. They can even have a year or two in which they release nothing at all - I mean they released only 2 singles in 2018 and even 2019 (minus OIBM). They can then also do their solo things alongside. I remember they said in an interview that as much as they know they'd do solo projects, their music endeavours will always be together. Not sure how these things work in terms of contractual obligations and their label/management. I just wish they'd be different from other girl groups that have come and gone, and maintain their legacy. Usually when groups go on "hiatus" and return, it's never quite the same again.

The Sun is reporting they're announcing an actual split next month, and that the tour is a farewell tour. Not just The Sun, but Mirror also.

I will wait this out, no matter how tempting it is. So it's seeming like Cut You Off and Between Us are the favourites in most forums. It's interesting that when Heartbreak Anthem leaked, the reviews were mostly borderline and negative, yet it did so well. I just need them to have another #1 song (this time as a trio) before they go on hiatus - if there will indeed be a hiatus.

Craig David is releasing a song with MNEK on 22nd. I feel that if LM next single was coming next week, they'd announce by today or maybe Monday. The rest of this year is just packed. I can already smell a very competitive brits next year.

Yes at this rate it's getting well over 20 million views by 24 hours. Seeing as she's as vocal as she is visual (if not more vocal), the UK streams from day 1 will likely get to 2 million

Not downplaying it. Top 5 is great, but it's expected. Anything less than top 5/top 10 would be a horrendous flop. And no, years ago, songs usually peaked week 1.

Being the first to go solo from a highly successful group like Little Mix, top 5 debut is no big deal. All the first solo singles from girl groups of their status went #1. I know it's 2021, but still!
