Interesting. However, do albums still move such numbers nowadays? I know it's Ed Sheeran, and I know Bad Habits is doing really well. I also know loads of people are pre-ordering the album, but 200,000 units in third week in 2021 would be incredible literally. But then, who knows? I just hope and pray it doesn't block the girls.

I agree completely. Being very honest, I like HA - I prefer it to Kiss My (which is a decent song in it's right too). But they're not amongst my top Little Mix songs. Sweet Melody is that b*tch. If it had the playlisting HA enjoyed, it would have been such a worldwide smash. I hope their playlisting starts to improve. I don't really know how that happens - the label? Or just based on how popular an artiste is?

It's such a mess - all over the place and just lacking in synchrony. I'm not a massive fan of the original, and this is trying to completely ruin the whole song for me. If it helps give them another top 10, that would be cool. Not surprised the original in the album though. It's their most recent single, and I'm sure they'd want to put in as many as their trio records as possible.

I think they started saying she was ill when she didn't appear for the final episode of The Search. In that episode also, clips from earlier in the week when they spoke to contestants and gave them advice had only Jade, Perrie and Leigh-Anne. The week before, they had performed a mashup of touch and holiday, and New Priority was eliminated. I don't understand how shooting the video of Sweet Melody, where she also had panic attacks according to the interview, was her breaking point, but she continued to get involved with LM activities afterwards - including the week Sweet Melody was released. She also performed it with the girls on The Search, when Jade was self-isolating. Perhaps it was all out of courtesy as you postulated? Or was the hospitalisation actually when she was absent, which was around album release? The timeline of events from the video shoot to her leaving isn't very clear to me. It doesn't have to be though.

Absolutely 💯. I've been saying that. It's proving to be amongst their top 5 singles ever in the UK. Not just the UK, it's done well worldwide too. Still collecting over a million streams on spotify each day.

Kiss My is their most recent so I'm not actually surprised. Besides, I'm sure they'd want to include as many of their trio songs as possible for obvious reasons. They have a huge task in their hands re next year's tour. So many songs to choose from. The five new ones, the three singles this year so far, three earlier singles from Confetti, and the bops from the past!

Yes third week. I think they will top him if no other big artiste is releasing that day. But I think that he will still return to number 1 in subsequent weeks.
