Like I was saying on Perrie's thread, it's about owning your identity and not necessarily going for what is popular. When Billie Eilish came with her style of songs, they weren't exactly popular, but she took off because it was her being unique and not necessarily copying anyone else or any trend. I mean, Power is kind of messy, but I absolutely love it. So yeah, Jade can release the "messy" song, as long as it has her stamp and uniqueness, I believe people will listen.

It's hard going from a group to being a solo artist. I mean, there is no Jade to answer the difficult/awkward questions, etc. I'm just baffled that Perrie is not releasing singles that showcase her powerful vocals. It shouldn't matter what is on trend; discover what you're good at and showcase it and it will sell. Power ballad Perrie, power VOCAL ballad!!

I've read about this before and wondered if it might be Jesy. It might or might not be. Who knows? Although clues such as "hoping they'll grow" make it more intriguing. Also I wish she could tone down on the album talks, cos it would be awkward if the album doesn't eventually materialise. But again, I'm dying to hear the ballad she recorded first, written by M-NEK and titled Miss You!

I'm really loving this song more and more. The outro on the live performances lifts it even higher!

I would think that as a group, all four had to agree for a song to be released as a single. That increases the chances of GP acceptability of the single, unlike when it's just the one person.

The birthday wishes from Mel C and Emma read more heartfelt and personal than those from Geri and Victoria. Mel C even mentioned creating more memories soon. Who knows?!

I don't like Wannabe music video - I think it's my least favoured video of theirs, just after Viva Forever music video. I have a complicated relationship with Wannabe lol - I dislike the studio version, but whenever they perform it live (live singing and live band), it becomes my favourite song of theirs. I can't explain it.

Just watched/listened to some clips from Spiceworld tour 1998, and my oh my did they sound tireddddd!! Love that they used a live band, but the vocals were grating, and it was clear Geri was unhappy. They all looked stressed and whoever did their makeup deserved a sack.

Why is the anger only at Geri though, and not Mrs Beckham? All of the girls were essential to the band, but Geri was the worst in the combination of singing, dancing and performance. In 2019, I found her difficult to watch. Maybe she's acquired same self-awareness that Victoria seems to bask in, and so feels she can't possibly return to performing? At the end of the day, you can't force people into doing what they do not want to do That said, I am not aware of any evidence to suggest Melanie B is trying to force Geri to join in the reunion. She can be frustrated about it - that's within her right. She only shared a post suggesting a trio reunion - that's harmless. Yes she named Geri Denying - lots of reasons come to mind - some of which are convincing enough. I don't think that's bullying. It's her Northern humour, and Mel B being the realest b*tch that she is (not in a bad way), who says it exactly as it is. I will gladly buy tickets to watch Emma + The Mels performing old spice girls songs or new music by them three. In fact, if all five aren't joining in a touring reunion, I'd rather have the three that can sing and perform than have any four. And if I have to take four, I'd have Victoria over Geri. They already have an album as that four, so that would still be some relatable semblance of the past . Still love Geri regardless.

Emma and Mel B are the most loyal spices. They're the only two that have been there in literally every reunion. The beans-on-toast-eating, party-loving spices!
