SPICE: The singles are the right ones. For me, the only other track that comes a bit close is NAKED. SPICEWORLD: Saturday Night Divas!!! FOREVER: Right Back at Ya.

Apparently Jade has called out Matty Healy for not speaking up about politics. She's reported to have said "I don't think you can be a pop artist and cover your eyes".

During their 1998 Wembley performance for the Back in Britain finale Spiceworld tour, Mel B did say their 3rd album was coming out "next year" - 1999. There are so many "could have beens", but nobody truly knows. With just three studio albums, they're still the best selling GG of all time. I personally like Forever; yes it's different from the other two, but it's still a great album. And yes, the sales were awful because the public had checked out, and so had the girls themselves.

I want to do this rating but I can't - it's tough! I like all of the songs for different reasons - even with regards to quality/craft. But yeah, Say You'll Be There and Viva Forever are up there. I wouldn't put Let Love Lead the Way and Headlines at the bottom though (yeah I do really like Headlines), but I can't figure out which would be in the bottom of the list! Maybe Mama? Such a solid discography!

Snippet sounds so good! Not sure how I feel about it sounding so similar to SOTME though. A bit of similarity/homage is fine, but not literally re-singing the original song. I suppose I should wait for the whole song.

Let's face it, none of the girls is likely having a huge commercial solo success. It's an uphill task, and I'd be pleasantly surprised if I'm wrong. Jade's chart performance despite the quality of her output says it all. The best they can do is to focus on the art, and release music they like/they're proud of, and not all that "song of summer" social media sensationalist nonsense. I still really like this chorus. It's very dancey

Love the chorus so much. The rest of the song? I'm not sure yet. But the chorus is so good, that I already prefer this to DSL. My Love still is her best so far.

Part of me says Forever, because that's my favourite album of theirs. The other part of me says Stop- would have been a clean slate of 10 consecutive #1 singles!

Christmas in Spiceworld was their Forever Tour 😄 I loved that tour though, and they all sounded amazing! I don't see Victoria or Geri ever coming back on stage/tour to sing with the Spice Girls - at least, not anytime soon!

Yep we've checked out lol. You don't name your unreleased song "song of summer". You can say that in your private circle, but not publicly on the Internet. That's setting yourself up for disappointment if it doesn't become that. But again, it's the same Leigh-Anne who posted videos of herself in a Chris Brown's concert! She's looking stunning though, and I do hope it does well for her.

I was not expecting Victoria or Geri to attend, and I'm actually pleasantly surprised Victoria's parents were there. I did expect Mel C though, but of course with work commitments, her absence is understandable - she was at her 50th anyway!

With the way the charts are nowadays, I wouldn't give up just yet. Songs often take off several weeks after release. It isn't just about week one anymore.

It wasn't Jesy's departure; it's the fickle pop industry. It is an uphill task to keep having hits back-to-back for 10 years or more, especially as a manufactured group - even if the songs are bangers. The industry gets tired and moves on to the next "big thing". Only few artistes maintain long-lived chart success.
