  1. Dina Asher-Smith finished third as Sha'Carri Richardson set a new 100m meeting record at the opening Diamond League of the season in Doha.

     

    American Richardson, 23, clocked 10.76 seconds, beating the previous meeting record of 10.80 set by her compatriot Tori Bowie, whose death at the age of 32 was announced on Wednesday.

     

    Britain's Asher-Smith ran 10.98secs, with Jamaica's Shericka Jackson second.

     

    "I'm so blessed and thankful, I feel at peace," said Richardson, 23.

     

    "All I do is the best I do and I'm excited to do it."

     

    Asher-Smith said: "The whole point about my season is to race against the best and I did that tonight.

     

    "I am really happy with my race, third place is a good start and the time is decent."

  2. EFL clubs have unanimously approved a record domestic rights deal with Sky Sports worth £935m over a five-year period with over 1000 matches to be broadcast each season - a record number of games for any club football agreement.
  3. Defending champions the Golden State Warriors beat the Los Angeles Lakers 127-100 to level their Western Conference semi-final at 1-1.

     

    Klay Thompson top scored with 30 points for the Warriors, with Stephen Curry adding 20 points and 12 assists.

     

    Anthony Davis, who starred in the Lakers' opening win, was limited to 11 points.

     

    "We realised we let one go in game one. [When] we keep it simple the floodgates can open," said Thompson.

  4. Britain's Dina Asher-Smith says she is relishing the chance to test herself against some of the world's best in the Diamond League opener in Doha.

     

    Asher-Smith will line up in a high-quality 100m field on Friday which features reigning world 200m champion Shericka Jackson.

     

    The 27-year-old went undefeated during an indoor season which saw her improve her British 60m record to 7.03 seconds.

     

    "I'm very much a competitor so I love challenging races," Asher-Smith said.

  5. Reading have been relegated to League One after Huddersfield beat Sheffield United to get the point they needed to secure their Championship survival.

     

    The Royals needed the promoted Blades to beat their Yorkshire rivals to take their hopes of staying up to the final day - when they face Huddersfield.

     

    Managerless Reading are now four points from safety with one game remaining.

     

    Next season will be the former Premier League side's first in the third tier of English football for 21 years.

    'Bound 4 Da Reload (Casualty)' would be the debut single from Britsh duo Oxide & Neutrino, later members of So Solid Crew. This sampled the theme tune to the BBC medical drama 'Casualty' and includes a spoken part from the 1998 film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels which included '"Ah! s**t! I've been shot!/I don't f***ing believe this, could everyone stop getting shot?, This would get to #1 in the UK where it knocked off Fragma's 'Toca's Miracle' off the #1 spot.

     

     

    2004- Jennifer Lopez- Baby I Love U

     

     

    'Baby I Love U' was the fourth single from Jennifer Lopez's third studio album 'This Is Me..Then'. This contained an interpolation from the theme of the 1969 film 'Midnight Cowboy. In the UK this would peak at #3 in the UK for her, in the US, this become her lowest charting-single at the time by peaking at #72.
