Last year's Grand National runner-up Delta Work, one of Gordon Elliott's finest stable stalwarts over the last decade, has died at the age of 12 following a bout of colic. A three-time Cheltenham Festival winner during a stellar career, Delta Work won the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase in 2022, famously beating the legendary Tiger Roll after a thrilling tussle, and he won it again the following year, too. He also won the Pertemps Final in 2018. Before switching his attention to the cross-country scene, Delta Work won five Grade 1s over fences and was successful in the Savills Chase and Irish Gold Cup at Leopardstown during the best season, the 2019-2020 campaign. He was fifth to Al Boum Photo in the Cheltenham Gold Cup afterwards. Delta Work was last seen finishing fourth in the Cotswold Chase at Cheltenham last month and he was being geared up for another crack at the Cross Country Chase at next month's festival, for which he was generally a 7-1 shot.

  19. This Week: 2001- Rui Da Silva ft Cassandra- Touch Me usqVAFNYmzg 'Touch Me' was an collaboration between Portuguese house music producer Rui da Silva and British singer Cassandra Fox. This would go on and peak at #1 in the UK where it would stay there for one week. This was the first time that an act from Portugal had topped the UK charts. I couldn't find the official music video for this, I do apologize. 2002- P!nk- Get The Party Started mW1dbiD_zDk Shirley Bassey Cover: vqNcyFNMfLM 'Get The Party Started' was the lead single from P!nk's second studio album 'Missundaztood'. This would go on and peak at #2 in the UK where it would be pipped to the #1 spot by Enrique Iglesias. In the US this would go on and peak at #4 int eh Billboard Hot 100, apparently this was meant for Madonna on her album 'Music'. This would be covered although bizarrely but it did work by Shirley Bassey. Her version would peak at #47 in the UK. 2004- Boogie Pimps- Somebody To Love t6HSlZBNwUQ Original: SrGSt5eDt9o 'Somebody To Love' was the debut single from German electric music duo Boogie Pimps. This would go on and peak at #3 in the UK, this was an cover of Jefferson Airplane's original from 1967. The music video to this from Boogie Pimps was probably one of the bizarre music videos from 2004 with contained an model in her swimwear and babies falling out the sky in parachutes.
  20. This Week: 1991- A Tribe Called Quest- Can I Kick It? O3pyCGnZzYA Sampled: oG6fayQBm9w Also Sampled: ZmopROxBnBU Was Sampled By: BnO3nijfYmU 'Can I Kick It?' was the third single from American hip hop group A Tribe Called Quest with their debut album 'People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm'. This would go on and peak at #15 in the UK, in the US this didn't chart in the Billboard Hot 100. This would contain samples of 'Walk On The Wild Side' by Lou Reed, 'What a Waste' by Ian Dury and The Blockheads. In 2000 Robbie Williams would sample this on his UK #1 'Rock DJ'. 2003- Craig David- Hidden Agenda thfY91Edem0 'Hidden Agenda' was the second single from Craig David's second studio album 'Slicker Than Your Average'. This would go on and peak at #10 in the UK, Can't say that I remember this particularly well from Craig David, I was more familiar with his other singles from his second album 'What's Your Flava' and his collaboration with Sting 'Rise and Fall'. But this sounds all right from him. 2014- Tinie Tempah ft Labrinth- Lover Not A Fighter a4vx0Cy5Hi4 'Lover Not A Fighter' was the third single from Tinie Tempah's second studio album 'Demonstration' This would feature Labrinth, this would be the third time that these two had collaborated officially on 'Frisky' in 2010, the following year it was aan case of return the favour on 'Earthquake' this time with Labrinth as the lead artist. Labrinth also had uncredited vocals in Tinie Tempah's debut single 'Pass Out'. This would go on and peak at #18 in the UK. Out of the four Tinie Tempah/Labrinth collaboration this is probably the third of the four songs that I would listen to the most. This was even included as background music on Match of the Day 2 in their highlights of Saturday's matches.

  24. It is 20 years since 'Wake Me Up' came out it was the fourth and final single from their second studio album 'What Will the Neighbours Say?' lK7oOVp7BJE This would go on and peak at #4 in the UK becoming their first single to miss the Top 3. What are your views on this now and the music video?
