  1. James Tavernier scored his 100th league goal for Rangers as they beat Dundee to overtake Celtic and move within four points of Scottish Premiership leaders Hearts. Skipper Tavernier's second-half penalty and Danilo and Djeidi Gassama's late strikes ensured victory as Danny Rohl's side made it eight wins in a row in all competitions and took advantage of Hearts and Celtic's draw. The hosts were awarded a spot-kick when Nico Raskin was caught by Ryan Astley after shooting over. The decision was upheld by the video assistant referee (VAR) and keeper Jon McCracken could only get a touch on Tavernier's shot.

Former Red Bull boss Christian Horner is among a group of investors interested in purchasing a stake in Alpine, the French team has confirmed. Horner, 52, was sacked as Red Bull team principal last summer after a decline in form for the former world champions and nearly two years of internal conflict. A statement from Alpine said the group of potential investors linked to Horner was among "multiple interested parties" to have discussed a potential investment with the team. Alpine said it was "no secret" that minority shareholder Otro Capital, which bought a 24% stake in 2023 for 200m euros (then worth £171m), had "held preliminary talks to sell its stake in the team".
  3. Claudio Braga rescued a point for Heart of Midlothian with a late equaliser as they fought out a thrilling draw with 10-man Celtic that leaves the Scottish Premiership leaders still six points clear of the reigning champions. Benjamin Nygren's free-kick gave Celtic an early lead and, although Stuart Findlay headed a deserved equaliser, Yang Hyun-jun's goal on the break looked destined to give the Glasgow side their first win over Hearts in three meetings this season.

I wonder if Palace will stick with Glasner. They have a buffer from the bottom three but it’s not huge.

Williams will miss next week's first pre-season test following delays completing their new car. The team, who have targeted 2026 as an opportunity to move towards the front of the field, said work had been pushed back as they "continue to push for maximum car performance". A spokesperson said not committing to the Barcelona test following the delays was "a better engineering outcome".

This again I can echo the words that I said from 'Don't Look Back In Anger'. I think when I was younger I didn't really appreciate the band. This back in an End of Year chart partly thanks to the tour that they went on. But also 'Live Forever' was an particular song that I have grown to like very much during the last couple of years. Well it produced the reunion that I didn't think would happen, thank goodness that it did.
