oh my god a Before The Dawn Heals Us pick and the conclusion to it as well we are not worthy

Oh I'd suppressed my memory of that will.i.am one, that's comfortably his worst #1 despite the competition for that title being fierce, utterly awful. X-Factor as usual very dull and in the bottom, good bottom 2. Interested to see your thoughts on these.

Calvin Harris - Summer Damien Rice - Woman Like a Man Calvin Harris & Sam Smith - Promises Gary Numan - I Die: You Die Lewis Capaldi - Forget Me Darin feat. Kat DeLuna - Breathing Your Love Roosevelt - Take Me Back (Midnight Version) Tom Grennan - Before You Sam Fender - Saturday HRVY - 1 Day 2 Nights Mackenzy Mackay - London

okay I found something

of course! not that you're guaranteed sovarasama points specifically but if one person can like it, good chance others will (and my pop-alt ratings have sovarasma as a pretty centrist nation)

I am really going to need to get those searches out for something - stay tuned

An entry being on uhsting's chart is sometimes just the blessing you need - it's not like you're gonna be able to hide from them.

M83 - Kim & Jessie Depeche Mode - Ghosts Again Ultravox - The Voice iamamiwhoami - chasing kites Fontaines D.C. - Jackie Down the Line New Order - Age of Consent Bananarama - Look on the Floor (Hypnotic Tango) Texas - I Don't Want a Lover Vengaboys - 1999 (I Wanna Go Back) Years & Years - All For You Sade - Your Love is King 'Kim & Jessie' may be one of the greatest songs ever - very much enjoying the Depeche Mode and Ultravox discographies so far too

Great countdown Jaz, I fell behind a bit but catching up, I think that's a great #1, I have a few I'd put ahead of it, but the best 2013 number ones were the (best of the) euphoric dance ones so it's very high up in those. I do recall thinking like it seemed like such a comeback for Daft Punk out of nowhere and now it's their signature song almost. Great to see two of the songs I think are my favourites, 'La La La' and 'Thrift Shop' in the top 10, I was on board with the movement of Sam Smith being great on those dance #1s when they were first breaking out (before much more mediocre material later) and this was an excellent follow up to Disclosure's 'Latch' in that regard. And Macklemore just had one of the cleverest big tracks with 'Thrift Shop' in my opinion, never really got into 'Can't Hold Us' but I remembered him fondly with that before the recent drama. As I said earlier, I think 'Wake Me Up' would be my favourite, and there's quite a few differences with my full ranking but that's all good, been very interesting reading your thoughts on all these. Other comments, did used to dislike 'Royals' and 'I Love It' quite a bit at the time but age has warmed me to them, especially as they're two of the songs most likely to be heard from this list today, do enjoy Lily Allen if only for my love of the Keane original as with you, and agreed that 'Wrecking Ball's verses and launch into the chorus make it a lot better than 'We Can't Stop' my full ranking: Wake Me Up - Avicii La La La - Naughty Boy ft Sam Smith Thrift Shop - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis ft Wanz Get Lucky - Daft Punk ft Pharrell Williams & Nile Rodgers Need U (100%) - Duke Dumont ft A*M*E I Could Be The One - Avicii & Nicky Romero Royals - Lorde Wrecking Ball - Miley Cyrus The Monster - Eminem ft Rihanna Get Up (Rattle) - Bingo Players ft Far East Movement Burn - Ellie Goulding Mirrors - Justin Timberlake I Love It - Icona Pop ft Charli XCX Counting Stars - OneRepublic Somewhere Only We Know - Lily Allen What About Us - The Saturdays ft Sean Paul Love Me Again - John Newman Look Right Through - Storm Queen Roar - Katy Perry Scream & Shout - will.i.am ft Britney Spears Under Control - Calvin Harris & Alesso ft Hurts Waiting All Night - Rudimental ft Ella Eyre Animals - Michael Garrix We Can’t Stop - Miley Cyrus Happy - Pharrell Williams One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks) - One Direction Talk Dirty - Jason Derulo ft 2 Chainz Let’s Get Ready To Rhumble - PJ & Duncan Impossible - James Arthur Skyscraper - Sam Bailey Blurred Lines - Robin Thicke ft T.I. & Pharrell Williams

I gave the séyetana eyes uWu faces (˘ω˘)

loved seeing Aelandor win on the 18s even if it didn't do nearly as well as previous Midnight entries (unfortunately)

Jessie Ware - If You're Never Gonna Move Robyn - Hang With Me Agnes - EGO MARINA - Froot Kate Bush - The Man With the Child in His Eyes Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Me and My Imagination Milica Pavlović - Crna jutra (Balkan S&M) Adele - Rolling in the Deep Zara Larsson - Ain't My Fault Dido - Take My Hand Leona Lewis - Come Alive

Very interested to see what the final outcome to this will be, it's been known for a while that it's coming, but the punishment needs to be correct. I do indeed fear that the final punishment will be a points deduction and fine, potentially a transfer window ban as well, which, well, all that will do is put them out of title contention and maybe European football for a year, and then they can carry on as if nothing ever happened. Obviously Everton did have that and weren't even relegated, but their crimes were far lesser, and Man City will have all their titles gained still, that'll just be cost of doing business. Punishment should be considering things up to and including stripping titles in the period covered and expulsion from the league this season, to re-enter at a far lower level - or something that is in some way proportional.

It's completely fine to make new threads for any news stories that anyone wants a specific discussion on - the general threads are there to allow flexibility to move from one topic to the next and remove the barrier to posting that starting a new topic sometimes is. The mocking here of the bar, from what little I've seen seems offcolour and rude, but I don't think it's particularly healthy for people to live in fear or refuse to take part in society either.

actually amazing hosting idea I will be creating the worst art you have ever seen when I get a minute

I really thought we were getting the Aeroche vs Persephonia battle after the semis, but never trust what the semis show you. Neliönoir was only a bit behind too. Also was shocked to see Eledan only scraping through in 20th, I thought that would have been easily in, tough one to pick between that and Kathaldazia out. Really pleased with 15th for my AQ, I have always wanted to get a decent hit with a bit of awesome alt Japanese stuff and this was the perfect chance to send something like that safely, very pleased it got 25 votes - thank you all. Also I have really enjoyed hosting, it's always worth it to see the behind-the-scenes stuff as the votes roll in and figuring out how best to present them to the forum, thank you for all the lovely comments <3

What a top 2, so close for Persephonia but Neliönoir deserves it - I only wish I had the graphical skills to return the favour for them! tried to shove the Nelly votes to the end there but it was a bit unclose after being so close while adding up all the way through

100% reporting: A-Konohagakure and we end with anime and many points for Séyetana, as God intended

98% reporting: Skall an 18 for Jadakissnia! which I just spotted I attributed wrongly on my final scoreboard so let's hope there's not too much to check or change with that
