  1. CORBYN oh I'm pleased with that, and with a good majority too!
  2. oh the Labour Party holds all the responsibility for IDS holding on there
  3. Oh we love to see an important Tory losing his seat get f***ed Grant Shapps
  4. As expected for Starmer, I think the protests against him did as well as they could have been expected and he's still far ahead. hope his neighbour is up next for the declaration
  5. Interesting that the Conservatives have won West Suffolk, that was one I expected to be quite close between Cons and Labour overall, and they had the Reform co-deputy leader who was on the BBC earlier there so the Conservatives must have done well to bat both Labour and Reform off given well... everything else.
  6. This rush of Davey, Rayner, Thornberry and now possibly Corbyn announcing in mere minutes if Corbyn has won that'll be a huge shock and honestly very relieving, I'd not been counting on it.
  7. Strong showing from Ed Davey, hope that sort of LD vote is replicated in other places where they have a good chance.
  8. Ashfield one of the most cursed seats in the country god damn it.
  9. boo at Francois still stinking up the place. Pretty impressive run of seats for Labour in Stroud, Nuneaton and Darlington. Barnsley holding easily is great to see, that'd have been one area Reform might have won if they'd really had a great night.
  10. Liked seeing Dawn Butler being cagey about what the left will do on the BBC (honestly good seeing the Labour left mentioned at all there tbqh) - I'd love to see McDonnell and Lynch up there but I don't have the bandwidth to manage multiple channels. Gateshead Central also looking similar to the seats we've got so far, though Lib Dems narrowly in 3rd ahead of the Tories, mildly interesting.
  11. Seeing slight signs that the exit poll may have been overestimating Scottish Tory seats for some reason. I think they're ending up lower than the numbers there.
  12. @1809001644580798956 don't give me hope
  13. Swindon's an early bellwether, good to get that one done. I think that's far more encouraging numbers, Labour would have won that without Reform.
  14. But where they did they almost universally didn't do well at all. They were on to nothing before Farage came in 6 weeks ago, well, maybe not quite nothing as it's a general but they'd have been the remnants of 2015's UKIP and nothing more.
  15. Long term, I'd be sceptical. Yet to see whether that vote will hold to this Reform in this incarnation, it doesn't have much of an infrastructure. And then if Reform did well in the locals here this'd be one of the few areas in which they did. if so though, we really do not want Labour looking to their right any more than they already f***ing are
  16. holy christ that Reform vote in Sunderland is hefty and Labour not even that far ahead
  17. Just depends on the ground game, and the North East has made a competition of it. St. Ives will be last because of votes needing to be airlifted over from the Isles of Scilly I imagine. Those tend to be the two constants. East Grinstead & Uckfield looking like a Tory hold as expected, sad.
  18. Well yeah, there was a distinct sense of them getting high on their own supply and seeming like they had an automatic right to power, turning any criticism of their actions into 'uh no everything's fine actually we're being hugely successful with our fantastic plans'. Which was really weird honestly. That'll be gone from public life, I hope.
  19. okay can you f*** off with the 'Labour has changed' 'Corbyn & McDonnell' would have been the worst thing ever come on now Peter Mandelson and Steve Baker of all people as reps on the BBC is ridic
  20. Lot of potential Tory scalps coming, this will be so fun to watch.
  21. Reform and Conservatives ahead of expectations but that won't matter, hopefully reality is less kind to them than this. f***ing HURRAY we're on for a Labour government now.
  22. I am very nervous but bring it on, I'll be here all night I imagine, unless I pass out.

  24. Less than an hour to go until we start getting real election info let’s gooo
  25. Yeah, a little bit. I'm driving it away with rationales that if anything polls might be overestimating the amount of people still supporting the Tories.
