  1. What score did Dave get out of curiosity? WAAITT is easily my fav album of 2021 and could genuinely be my fav album of all time, it's absolutely incredible imo.
  2. Highest selling 1st week of 2021? That title went to Dave's 'We're All Alone In This Together' with 74k first week sales until Coldplay came along.

I think you mean #2 would be Shivers, not Cold Heart lol
  4. I wasn't even aware that Spotify had an album chart tbh lmao
  5. The amount of projection about Ed's intentions on this forum is really something else lol
  6. I'm definitely going with Shivers for this week, ahead of Easy On Me on Amazon and very close behind on Spotify, surely very close on Apple as well, plus the significant sales lead it has I think will push it back to #1.
  7. Didn't SOUR do 34k streaming sales first week? It really isn't hard to envision = coming close to that, and = will absolutely blow SOUR out of the water in pure sales.
  8. Pretty good opening day figures for =, all the songs Top 20 on Apple and Top 30 on Spotify after their first 24 hours. Overpass Graffiti I imagine will climb over the next few weeks the same way that Bad Habits and Shivers did, the rest of the album will probably have a fairly gentle fall over the course of a week or 2.
  9. Shivers shows up as #1 on Amazon for me, I assume that it must be #1 when you combine the versions but not individually.
  10. The way that this is actually a strong possibility lmao. Drake did 2,028 pure sales, Ed doing 202,800 pure sales isn't even far-fetched.
  11. That's definitely some kind of glitch or something, one look at the Top 30 songs on AM right now would tell that = is far and away the most listened to album on the platform today.
  12. No chance that would ever happen lets be honest lol, even if Adele would probably end up on top she wouldn't want to take the risk of releasing on the same week as the 1 person who has any chance at all of blocking her from #1, and Ed most certainly wouldn't want to take the risk since he'd most likely get blocked at #2.
  13. I voted the same.
  14. Personally I think that = is going to have slightly lower streaming figures than No.6 but much higher physicals and downloads, resulting in an overall first week figure around 2x higher.
  15. I'm gonna predict almost the opposite, Bad Habits and Shivers both peaked in week 2 - 4 in terms of streams, and while I do think the album will get the most streams in day 1, I think it'll hold up very well for 2 - 3 weeks. Ed is hardly known for being a front-loaded artist lets be honest here.
  16. Next week's #1 will most likely be either Shivers, Overpass Graffiti or Bad Habits (don't count it out, just look at what I Don't Care would've done if under the same chart rules), but yes I absolutely agree that Adele will be #1 on the singles chart in some form after her album releases. Then she'll probably be replaced by xmas songs, if she doesn't take xmas #1 herself of course.

Well it certainly sounds like a fairly realistic figure for the total amount of Shivers CDs there were sold worldwide across all batches, but most posts about Ed on here are less based in reality than Narnia so who knows lmao
  18. I would be inclined to agree, though I was never really a fan of this one to begin with tbh

It is, but most betting odds for xmas #1 have rarely made good sense lmao
  20. Someone asked what the day 8 figures for them both were so I told them when the day 8 figures for them both were lol. The comparison is most likely because the absolutely massive debut figures of Easy On Me naturally drew comparisons to Shape of You, which was the previous non-"special event" record holder and which also debuted with astronomical figures for its time.
  21. Easy On Me day 8 - 1,032,909 Shape of You day 8 - 1,189,894
  22. From what I can find the Top 5 currently stands at (unless I'm missing something): 1) Ed Sheeran - '÷' (1st week) (78,944) 2) Ed Sheeran - '÷' (2nd week) (58,280) 3) Ed Sheeran - 'No.6 Collaborations Project' (49,858) 4) Drake - 'Scorpion' (49,715) 5) Ariana Grande - 'thank u, next' (43,811) I expect that by the end of the year we'll have Ed making his way to #2 between his other 2 albums with '=', then Adele blasting straight to #1 with '30'.
  23. I went with 200k - 250k, should clear the sales of +, × & No.6 quite easily but I can't see it coming close to ÷. Bad Habits and Shivers both took a little while to warm up and didn't peak on debut week, so I can see that lack of instant success (relatively speaking, of course) transferring to the album as well, though in this case I do think it'll probably peak on debut week (though there is still the chance it'll sell more around xmas than it does on debut week like × did).
  24. tbf I'm sure many people would've said the same with Shape of You when that absolutely shattered the records at the time but that only dropped under 1m on its 10th day despite "only" debuting with 1.3m, and it then climbed back above 1m for its 11th, 12th, 13th, 15th & 16th days as well, only consistently dropping below 1m from its 17th day onwards (before going back above 1m with the album release, of course) If Shape of You had followed the same trend as Easy On Me following its debut it would've had first 5 day figures of: 1,280,898 - 790,740 - 613,820 - 644,253 - 580,246 Its actual figures were: 1,280,898 - 1,243,633 - 1,193,762 - 1,323,982 - 1,258,743
  25. I've gone with 450k - 500k, which would still be an immense figure in the current climate. I think this album will finally beat the long-standing record of 79k streaming equivalent sales that ÷ managed way back in March 2017 as well. No idea how to start a poll lol but I'd predict 200k-250k for that one.
