  1. What score did Dave get out of curiosity? WAAITT is easily my fav album of 2021 and could genuinely be my fav album of all time, it's absolutely incredible imo.

Very strange to see the 2 versions of All Too Well charting separately, hopefully that can be fixed before Friday.

Year-end #1 will be Adele surely? And depending on how well Ed holds up, and how much he sells over xmas, year-end #2 could go to him. ~400k year-end sales for SOUR doesn't seem like it'd be an incredibly difficult hurdle to pass.
  5. Highest selling 1st week of 2021? That title went to Dave's 'We're All Alone In This Together' with 74k first week sales until Coldplay came along.

The #1 before Easy On Me was INDUSTRY BABY, no? So only 2 #1s for British acts in a row if Bad Habits manages it.

I think you mean #2 would be Shivers, not Cold Heart lol

How so? I thought they had like 125k pre-orders.

That is certainly not something I hear very often lol, × seems to be generally regarded as his best from fans and non-fans alike.

    For me, × >> + > No.6 >> = > ÷

fwiw I didn't enjoy = as much as No.6, though I did prefer it to ÷. + and especially × are still easily his best albums for me though.

I think originally they were planned for 5th Nov, probably pushed forwards by a couple of days to help her keep the #1. Why they didn't release sooner than that, I don't know.

He should get #2, #3 & #4 on the singles chart. Lets not forget that Bad Habits would be #4 right now if taken off ACR, which it will be on Friday.

Gonna be very very close, but with Adele's physicals shipping I think it'll go to Easy On Me

There seems to have been another run of Shivers CDs, they're back up on sale now. https://store.edsheeran.com/uk/shivers-cd-1.html

Well I would hope so, given that "The Fad" would've been 8 months old 30 years ago, and I can't imagine it being that hard to beat an infant to #1 album.

It'll be close but I expect Shivers to take it.

I'm assuming this is Saturday's Spotify, Apple & YouTube combined with Sunday's Amazon, smaller streaming services and sales data?

The numbers are certainly lower than I was expecting for Ed, but some people had their expectations way too high lol. 300k at worst? 500k in the bag? That was never going to happen realistically. I went with 200k in the poll, and while it does seem like he'll open with less than that, he should get around 150k so the numbers aren't some kind of earth shattering disappointment for me lol

This part is blatantly false. Ed's albums have done roughly 71 million equivalent album sales in total, 25 has done roughly 28 million equivalent album sales in total. Even just talking about pure sales Eds albums have done around 36 million combined, while 25 has done around 23 million. Adele is a bigger albums artist than Ed without a doubt, but there's no need to twist the facts.

There's surely no way that it'll hold on to #1 then. Any word on where Shivers is, since that's the one that I'd actually expect to be contending for #1.
  22. I wasn't even aware that Spotify had an album chart tbh lmao
  23. The amount of projection about Ed's intentions on this forum is really something else lol
  24. I'm definitely going with Shivers for this week, ahead of Easy On Me on Amazon and very close behind on Spotify, surely very close on Apple as well, plus the significant sales lead it has I think will push it back to #1.

Huh I have no idea why they show up as combined for me then. This is what the current Top 20 looks like for me at least.
