LADY GAGA ANNOUNCES HER HIGHLY ANTICIPATED SEVENTH STUDIO ALBUM, MAYHEM, DUE MARCH 7 VIA INTERSCOPE RECORDS Following previously released tracks “Disease” and “Die With a Smile,” Gaga will debut the album’s third single and its accompanying music video on February 2, airing during a commercial break at the 2025 GRAMMY Awards® Los Angeles, CA – January 27, 2025 – 13-time Grammy Award-winner Lady Gaga today announced her seventh studio album, MAYHEM,due March 7 via Interscope Records. The announcement follows a week of teasers on her website, which was relaunched today alongside a new storefront featuring the first of several merch drops to celebrate the highly anticipated project. Blending the eclectic energy that first captivated her fans with a bold, fearless artistic vision, MAYHEM marks a triumphant return to Gaga’s pop roots. The album explores themes of chaos and transformation, celebrating music’s power to unite, provoke, and heal. “The album started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved,” said Gaga. Far from a nostalgic throwback, MAYHEM reinvents her early sound with a kaleidoscopic approach that draws from her expansive musical library while embracing a fresh and fearless artistic perspective. Gaga describes the creative process as “reassembling a shattered mirror: even if you can’t put the pieces back together perfectly, you can create something beautiful and whole in its own new way.” The 14-track project—which features previously released songs “Disease” and “Die With a Smile”—was executive produced by Gaga, Michael Polansky and Andrew Watt. Producers on the album include Gaga, Andrew Watt, Cirkut, and Gesaffelstein. “Disease” was hailed by The Independent as “her best in a long while,” with The Guardian praising its “fizzing, distorted synths” and “pounding, slightly industrial beat.” Rolling Stone highlighted its “cavernous synth line” and “classic Gaga shout-along chorus.” Directed by Tanu Muino, the music video for “Disease” was lauded by Vogue as "one of the best videos of the year," while W celebrated its “cinematic, almost theater-like experience.” “Die With a Smile,” Gaga’s chart-topping collaboration with Bruno Mars, has become a global sensation. Currently in its third week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, the ballad also topped the Billboard Global 200 and Spotify’s Top 50 Global, setting a record as the fastest song to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify. With over 2.7 billion streams to date, the song is nominated for two 2025 Grammy Awards, including Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Billboard called it “a match made in Grammy heaven,” while The New York Times described it as “a romantic, lightly apocalyptic slow-dance.” Gaga will debut the third single and accompanying music video from MAYHEM for fans on February 2, airing during a commercial break at the 2025 GRAMMY Awards®. The full tracklist for the album will be revealed at a later date. Ahead of the Grammys, Gaga will join artists including Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Stevie Nicks, and Joni Mitchell to perform at FireAid on January 30, benefiting the people and communities devastated by the recent LA wildfires. On March 17, she will be honored with the 2025 iHeartRadio Innovator Award at the 12th annual iHeartRadio Music Awards, followed by a headlining performance at Coachella on April 11 and 18.

HOWEVER the music is going to be 1111/10 bombastic so that’s what matters! (Still holding out hope that it’s just an official promo image and not the actual album cover)

I love the title, but the photo and the font hopefully changes as both are underwhelming :(
  9. I thought that, I originally did 108 before changing to 107 because of the tweet but changed it back :D

It’s official! 7th Studio Album ‘Mayhem’ to be released on 7th March 2025. @1883866932455350472 @1883869120778899478
  11. BACK #1 ON GLOBAL SPOTIFY, DAY 108 :cheer: @1883869098918236220
  12. I’m reading everywhere about performers on this years Grammys and I’m yet to see Gaga’s name on it…. I really hope she performs DWAS with Bruno as it really would benefit from another major TV performance of it (alongside solidifying the Spotify record).
  13. Oh no I agree, I’m fuming that she puts so much into Harlequin and then disregards ASIB… (harlequin is so inferior to ASIB as well)
  14. I’m sorry but Harlequin got a mention but ASIB didn’t? Thats something I don’t get at all…
  15. DWAS is currently at 107 days, the record is 120 days so still need 14 days to fully beat it. I believe it’s doable but it is getting tough with so many new releases. Thankfully Bad Bunny’s steam is running out so there’s still chance.
  16. Gap now reduced to 200k, hopefully in the next day or two DWAS will be #1 globally again and reach Dance Monkey’s record *.*
  17. Arguably ASIB gave Gaga that career redemption. Before then, she was slowly fading into the background but that movie and soundtrack gave her career a new light (which I’m so thankful for)!
  18. It won’t reach #1 in the UK which is a shame, considering it’s been stuck at #2 for god knows how long :(
  19. A Star is Born isn’t a studio album tho, hence why it’s been excluded in the countdown. I believe all these represent Gaga’s eras (and as big as ASIB was, it’s just a side project).
  20. All I want is for Gaga to break the Spotify record for most days at #1. I still think there is a chance but it might get slim with more artists releasing new music being the start of 2025.
  21. The longevity of this song is INSANE. It is a mammoth hit, and I was so sure to myself in saying that Gaga won’t get a hit to ever come close to the iconic Poker Face, Bad Romance or Shallow again but this…..might even surpass all three of them :o
  22. The consistency in sales is mesmerising. What a hit!
  23. I don’t hate ‘Stupid Love’, it’s just….there (something that Gaga is not known for or why I fell in love with her). It’s a generic pop song that doesn’t oomph Gaga, the beat drop is underwhelming and the overall structure of the song is just flat. Vocally it isn’t anything groundbreaking either. (In my opinion of course) ((I still rate it 8/10 though oops))

Visual album?!?!?!! :o :o :o (Still think it’s getting pushed back but if so I want a full visual album please thank you)
  25. I wonder what the factors are for Billboard only ranking The Fame/Monster that low? I’m also convinced that 1989’s sales were combined and not split either so there seems to be some biasness going on there… (I always knew Billboard hated Gaga, I’ve been a firm believer of that for years)
