I’m unsure whether Gaga would shift 50k this time round if the 2nd single doesn’t fare better on the charts. Didn’t Chromatica have the massively hyped and successful ‘Rain On Me’ to help its momentum? DWAS wouldn’t suit the album imagery so I’d like to think it won’t feature in LG7 given how dark it is (it doesn’t even make sense to throw it on as a digital bonus track as it just feels odd and out of place), and that’s the single that will drive album sales given how massive it is still globally.

On another note oop leakity leak Gaga is coming through again… …and I like it better than the Antidote live version too. This is 100x better in my opinion as it brings the edgier side of the song out like it was in the original. I think I’ll stick with this one and disregard the official :kink: RVED2fHeTkk

I think Sour Candy hit it better, I’m just raging she didn’t do a full blown in-house performance of the song mixed with explosive vocals like the studio version and instead we got another piano acoustic version :kink:

I agree with Bal. This song doesn’t suit acoustic, and the live performance of her isn’t anything extraordinary as we know she can sing like that live (she does that type of singing in Happy Mistake 50x better) so it doesn’t add anything to the song.

I think at this point Interscope realises DWAS is going to outsell Disease. Disease hasn’t performed anywhere near as well as I hoped, so it would also make sense for her label to push it (Disease had loads of initial label support on streaming and radio etc but just no one was buying it oops).

DWAS is so Grammys written all over it. If it doesn’t win one of the major awards, it’ll sweep up Best Pop Duo without a doubt.

I really hope the track now stabilises and climbs up. Gaga please start to promote this with appearances on shows etc. I genuinely think ‘Disease’ will struggle without further promotion unlike DWAS which I predicted and knew it would be a long lingering smash.

That wig and make up combination is horrible. The blend of outfit choice on her, alongside the makeup and wig makes her look like she went and took a leaf out of Trixie Mattel’s drag race catalog.

I agree with the setting at night instead. Also heard the glimpse of a new song mid-way through…interesting.

What a brilliant video. Not lengthy, just simple and effective at doing its job. THIS is the Gaga we all know her for and by all means she is absolutely SLAYING it both musically and aesthetically!
