‘Disease’ remains one of the strongest lead singles that she’s released, and I echo absolutely everything that Rob has said. I don’t think the label quite anticipated how huge ‘Die With A Smile’ became (one of the biggest hits ever), and ‘Disease’ unfortunately became subjected to a cloud upon its release. That and then timing of it being released before Christmas, then eaten up again by the mammoth ‘Abracadabra’ with the eventual release of the ‘Mayhem’ album made it a distant memory. Sonically, it is one of Gaga’s finest vocally albeit the lyrics aren’t exactly the most original but nevertheless her vocal delivery alongside the production makes the entire song what it is.

It needs to increase in sales this week (it should as this is Halloween lead up week!!).

ALL ‘Mayhem’ singles are ranked as God tier in my books. However if I had to rank them it’d be as follows…. Halloween is in the next 2 weeks, but it doesn't look like ‘The Dead Dance’ has benefitted yet from the holiday timeline just yet…. (I’m not even sure there’s a large Halloween effect outside of maybe the actual week leading up to the main day itself..)

I hope this song doesn’t get kicked into recurrent this week, and Taylor’s album tracks drops quicker so if can bounce back up to a safer chart placement.

This song will end up being Gaga’s biggest hit here (it already is her biggest hit ever worldwide). The song is also in the Top 20 biggest ever hits on the Billboard Hot 100, and no doubt will climb to Top 10 if Taylor doesn’t push it out to recurrent.

‘Mayhem’ NEEDS to win, being my most favourite album ever. Kendrick had his time last year, and Bad Bunny can have it the year after or something just not 2026 Grammys .

‘Garden of Panty’ is the 2nd best song released ever in man kind history, so yes I agree with that comment!!! (‘The Dead Dance’ is nevertheless still a 1111111111111/10 song!)
