‘Mayhem’ streams yesterday were all up!! 😁😁

Exciting, I completely forgot about this cameo which only means further publicity for Gaga later on the year! 😁

Now the target is to see if DWAS can get 200 days (and maybe 250 overall)? That record doesn’t seem like it’s ever going to be beaten at this rate! Also the streaming is very consistent which is lovely to see! With yesterday being Easter Monday and bank holiday, streams would’ve suffered so hopefully we get another increase tomorrow with services resuming back to normal.

Not at all!!! Be interesting to see if the label continues to push this a final time with Rio before unleashing the next single. Gaga has been unusually quiet since Coachella and absent from all social media platforms, so I wonder is she cooking something for us as a surprise? 🤫

I just hope Gaga has enough time to rest and not run herself to the ground!

Yeah in theory that would work back on iTunes days, and then we’d get a roll out of 3 music videos at once (imagine!!!!). But with the streaming era everything is so accessible and radio has become quite null and void and non-impactful on the charts, so it wouldn’t really work. (I just want music videos for them 3 tracks 🫣🫣)

Hmmm….the streams are quite stable but doesn’t seem like Coachella weekend 2 has given it a boost? Be interesting to see what the next 2 days are.

Personally I think Gaga could’ve squeezed Garden of Eden/Vanish Into You before this song gets released over the summer. I know the obvious Taylor coded comparisons are uncanny, but I really hope Gaga can pull an official remix with her and make it a global mega smash!

When I’m monitoring ‘Abracadabra’ and its chart performance, I kind of get this strategy. Out of all regions, Australasia (Australia and New Zealand) didn’t take the song as well compared to the European and US markets. ‘Garden of Eden’ is quite similar in that it’s quite an out there track, so maybe Interscope wanted to avoid that and release something a bit more calmer as the next single there? Although saying that, they could’ve just went with ‘Vanish Into You’ as the overall 4th single off Mayhem..

I need this to blow up so she benefits massively from streaming due to the media attention this issue is receiving.

I’m not actually sure what Gaga wants as the third single because one minute it’s Vanish Into You, the next it’s Garden of Eden and now it’s How Bad Do U Want Me (or how about just triple bash 3 singles out together, one can dream)!

I was talking to Bal, and the first week of ‘Abracadabra’ also had issues in the lighting. Where she does “the category is, dance or die” monologue, the light shining on her is meant to be red throughout before she finishes her speech, just before the “abraaacadaaaaabraaa” background vocal opening. Unfortunately the first week the spotlight shone on her head, before flickering back to red, then back to the spotlight again. I’m not technical so unsure if they would just chop and crop bits of both Abracadabra performance for the TV special?

A massive well done to mother delivering a fantastic 2nd Coachella show! The mic irked me and it’s noticeable as you can tell Gaga herself was stunned by it and tried her best to control the narrative despite what happened. Let’s hope it doesn’t ruin any chances of the rumoured HBO Special/Netflix in the making! 😢

I think ‘Mayhem’ will most definitely out perform ‘Chromatica’, as the interest in Gaga is insane this year (alongside all the events she is doing globally this year).

I think the UK here would eat this track up, alongside the likes of Germany and some Eastern European markets like Poland!
