It's a race to see which hits 4 billion first!

That's so interesting to see. Thanks for sharing ❤️

Confessions - The Film to sweep it all. I woke up to see she was the most nominated artist and thought it must be some sort of fever dream but so happy to see it is true. What a legend!

The music video has just elevated the song even more for me And the final minute and a half goes OFF. so glad he didn't end it at 2:30 and instead gave us a full experience with mood shifts and a beautiful climax.

"I hear your heart beat to the beat of the drums" 05. Die Young 9.60 We begin the top 5 with the lead single from your favourite album, Warrior. It's a celebratory song about living every day and night as if it's your last because you never know what turns life will take. It also has a message of staying young at heart. After time travelling and finding a more spiritual side to the world, Kesha demanded that her new era be a change of pace from what came before it - she wanted positive, raw, vulnerable songs about the magic of life. The song did face some backlash of sorts however. Following on from the Sandy Hook Elementary Shooting, in the US the song was pulled from some radio stations which ultimately stifled its exposure and magic somewhat - at the time it was ranked #3 on the American airplay charts, but dropped drastically, losing 19 million listeners! Now however, the song has regained some of its original magic and remains a fan favourite as this rate has proven!

I sent this to my bestie yesterday: This subject matter is quite rare in queer music and I am so grateful he is exploring it. I love a genre shift artist and this not what I was expecting from him but I am here for it. Probably will be more album opener vibes but I am totally intrigued for what else is to come from the album now.

Michelle Buzz, from the duo Haute & Freddy, on Lady Gaga: “She’s a heroine, she creates entire universes, she’s iconic and has always done things her own way. Even when her choices didn’t make sense to everyone, people ended up going along because she stood firm in what she believed in. And that’s the kind of artist I feel we want to be: we want to do things on our own terms. So, yes. That was very important to us.”

Kylie massively helped, but that can't take away from how successful this era has been for Madonna too. 3 top 40 hits and a #1 album - truly one for the ages!

Did all the CDs get dispatched for last week's sales?

Such an amazing success!

CHARTS AT #8!!!!!

Maybe a split over two weeks will mean it charts for more than one week in the top 40? We can dream!

CDs BEING DISPATCHED THIS WEEK!? AN POP EMERGENCY

I discovered her yesterday by listening to Salvation and found it bonkers and brilliant, if a little too loud at times~ nevertheless excited for this album now and assume I will be hearing a lot of it on max volume whenever I am with you @RobBot x

03. Animal 8.50 04. Period 8.20 Warrior vs Cannibal for the win!

My hipe levels are insane for a new Troye era. He always delivers. Gonna be controversial however and say I much prefer him being slower, reflective, sensual than all put charged sexual desire that the last album had. Take me back to Blue Neighborhood, Bloom, IN A DREAM vibes pls!

Before we continue the top 5 singles, let's see how you rated the ALBUMS! 07. Gag Order 5.30 06. High Road 6.45 05. Rainbow 7.10 There is a very clear last place - do you agree with the ranking so far and what are your thoughts on these albums revealed so far?
