  1. "Kesha don't give two f***s, I came to start that ruckus" 13. Crazy Kids 8.95 14. DELUSIONAL. 8.90 We lose the final version of Crazy Kids now and it's the original album version that has done the best. Later released with will.i.am and Juicy J, the original features an extra verse from Kesha. Before that it's the latest album's second single. Announced through the music video of JOYRIDE. the song was released with an edit version. The song sparked some artistic controversy when the artwork for it was proven to be an AI-generated image. Kesha had some sort of political statement about it and its intention :') but later changed the artwork in response to fans' comments.
  2. Amazing staying power!
  3. "You were the love of my life and it kills me" 15. Animal 8.90 16. The Harold Song 8.80 Cannibal tracks have help up very well, and the album's most understated track The Harold Song has managed to do incredibly well too! It is about the one guy (at the time) that Kesha had fallen in love with. The relationship didn't work and Kesha wrote the song, but struggled to actually listen to it because of its emotional attachment. It's a hugely vulnerable song and one that Kesha wanted to be released as a single! We also lose the title track from the debut album, another understated, emotional and vulnerable song. The final track on the standard edition of the album, and is about how life, despite being imperfect at times, is a beautiful thing.
  4. Anyone that knows me, knows that C'mon is my favourite Kesha song and one of my all-time favourites, period. It is my GO TO night out anthem - I have to play it before every night out I go on. A true modern masterpiece, classic
  5. There's ~700k in streams of unofficial versions too!
  6. "Paparazzi" gained 955,618 streams this Monday +130k vs last week A whole slay!
  7. Paparazzi too!
  8. That midweek position made me GASP! Incredible.
  9. Do we not think Music works the best lyrically? Why would she be singing about being hung up on someone at the world cup final?
  10. Unofficial versions of "Paparazzi" have been rising in streams on Spotify! Paparazzi — 963,069 Slowed — 379,203 Dubstep — 266,696 Super Slowed — 49,061 Ultra Slowed — 9,148 Sped Up/Nightcore — 6,529 What are these versions
  11. "Paparazzi" on Spotify 07/12 — 733,530 07/13 — 827,228 07/14 — 819,638 07/15 — 901,466 07/16 — 975,871 07/17 — 1,004,664 🌟 It is going viral apparently!
  12. "I want all the boys lately" 17. C'Mon 8.80 18. BOY CRAZY. (feat. JADE) 8.80 The final version of BOY CRAZY is out and you have chosen the remixed version with JADE to be your favourite one! Jade proved to be a big fan of the original song, posting videos of her singing it and so it was natural to get her involved in this killer remix. We then say goodbye to Warrior's second single. Released initially as a promo single, it was too good to not then be re-released as a fully fledged single. It is about hookups, the dancefloor and living life at its fullest. Although it didn't ignite the charts around the world, it has since cemented itself as a fan favourite, as proven by this rate!
  13. Love Into The Light is a career high! Absolutely haunting and sublime. Tik Tok is great and did its job but she has bettered it many times since.
  14. Hope it can continue to rise
  15. ITV have confirmed that they will broadcast the Men’s World Cup Final halftime show, which Madonna is headlining.

    Madonna, what?
  20. The staying power is brilliant for week 2. It might plummet soon, but this is definitely a SUCCESS for her whatever happens now.
  21. "Love in this life it's what really matters" 19. Tik Tok 8.75 20. Love Into The Light 8.75 The Warrior album tracks continue to place very favourably and one even starts off the top 20. Love Into The Light is one of the slowest moments on the album (and in Kesha's career as a whole) and it is a powerful, brooding, synthing masterpiece. It is a deeply personal song and was written solely by Kesha in her house. It is a message to herself about conquering bullying and haters and the importance of love and acceptance. We then, perhaps shockingly? say goodbye to Kesha's debut single - the gigantic, mammoth hit that is Tik Tok. Perhaps most impactful was its presence in the US charts, where it broke the record for the biggest single-week sum of all time for a female artist selling 610,000 digital downloads in one week and has since been certified 12× platinum. However around the world it also smashed it, and then some, becoming the best selling single worldwide in 2010!
  22. FINALLY BEEN HUNG UP!!! Paparazzi for me now.
  23. Omg not them changing the lyric like that this was already semi-going viral anyway so this is great to see!

I have said this before but I don't think actual listening habits of people have changed much at all over the past few decades. I think even in the download and physical eras, people listened to "older" music as much as they do now, but the only difference now is that every time they do it, it counts for the charts, whereas before it didn't and only new purchases counted. Wonderwall was probably listened to more than the random 1-week download era #1s back in the day, but there was no way of tracking that so it wasn't reflected on the charts. It just seemed like Cover Drive(?) et al were more popular in those weeks because they had more downloads, when in fact they probably weren't based on what people were actually listening to.
