“The Dead Dance” has been nominated for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics at the Emmys. This marks Gaga’s 6th Emmy nomination. Gaga is already an Emmy winner, taking home a Sports Emmy for her performance of “Hold My Hand” at Super Bowl LIX. Great to see! Already a winner, can she make it a double?

5 incredible songs there. Dancing With Tears In My Eyes is in my top 5 Kesha songs, period. Also adore Warrior - it's the explosive anthem the incredible album needs to open it. Out Alive is great. Hearing both songs play at the Tits Out Tour had me GASPING.

"Life, a beautiful and fragile thing" 24. Out Alive 8.50 25. Dancing With Tears In My Eyes 8.50 26. Warrior 8.50 27. BOY CRAZY. 8.45 28. Wherever You Are 8.35 Warrior gets hit with a triple elimination here! It includes the title track which opens the album with explosive, self-empowering energy and Out Alive which recently was included as an interlude of sorts on Kesha's latest tour. Elsewhere we lose the fourth single from PERIOD. (the JADE remix is still to come!). The song is Kesha's lustful anthem for all of her wildest fantasies and merges her quickfire spoken word with a high-energy dynamic chorus. Finally the debut album's standout album track (in my opinion!). Dancing With Tears In My Eyes is an emotional inclusion on the album and in the song Kesha explores the tragedy behind her persona - it opens up a more vulnerable side to the artist that many songs on the debut would have you believe does not exist!

Last Goodbye is my one from that section! Hungover is also a beauty - this rate proving how good she is at her slower moments.

I am beginning to think the discounts and big push for sales is related to its performance in the US. I can see Olivia seriously challenging her for the #1 spot so I think the team are getting worried about that.

I disagree! If Confessions On A Dancefloor is inspired by 70s/80s music, this album is more 90s vibes and so the perfect follow up in my opinion. It does sound similar to some of her 90s music but that works for me because the original Confessions took inspirations from the decades before this!

If you mean in its debut week it was ~#14 iirc!

THE ONE. 8.20 Period's 6th single, THE ONE. reached #1 on iTunes in the US (her previous song to do this was Die Young!). A favourite off the album for critics and fans, the song is a self-love, empowering anthem. Animal loses two album tracks in a row - two that compliment each other very well with their party + post-party vibes, but two that are completely different in vibes. The former is a trashy number which details Kesha's experiences throwing up in a closet at Paris Hilton's house(!). The latter is a sombre, reflective song that considers the party's end and the mournful mood that comes with it - weirdly the two should probably be swapped on the album's tracklisting order but the flow of the album remains a bit messy, oops. Last Goodbye comes at the end of the album, but it was penned as the album's first track to be included. It is a beautiful song about friendship and memories. Finally, Kesha's big breakthrough moment, Right Round, which feature's Dead or Alive's You Spin Me Round (Like a Record), is also out.
