  1. "How we lost our minds, when we fell in love that night" 29. Right Round (Flo Rida featuring Kesha) 8.35 30. Last Goodbye 8.30 31. Hungover 8.25 32. Party at a Rich Dude's House 8.20 33. THE ONE. 8.20 Period's 6th single, THE ONE. reached #1 on iTunes in the US (her previous song to do this was Die Young!). A favourite off the album for critics and fans, the song is a self-love, empowering anthem. Animal loses two album tracks in a row - two that compliment each other very well with their party + post-party vibes, but two that are completely different in vibes. The former is a trashy number which details Kesha's experiences throwing up in a closet at Paris Hilton's house(!). The latter is a sombre, reflective song that considers the party's end and the mournful mood that comes with it - weirdly the two should probably be swapped on the album's tracklisting order but the flow of the album remains a bit messy, oops. Last Goodbye comes at the end of the album, but it was penned as the album's first track to be included. It is a beautiful song about friendship and memories. Finally, Kesha's big breakthrough moment, Right Round, which feature's Dead or Alive's You Spin Me Round (Like a Record), is also out.

  11. #26 on AM UK!
  12. Up to #40 on UKAM again! I think this could chart again this week
  13. OK what does #1 on AMUK actually mean!? Is that usually achieved by the big pop albums?
  14. I definitely get RoL vibes from some moments too! In fact I can hear references from so much of her back catalogue.
  15. What I am loving most is that this feels like what Madonna was great at for about 2.5 decades: an album. A shared collective vision and statement told from start to end with a consistent theme and vibe running through it. Hard Candy was perhaps her last album to even attempt this, whereas MDNA, Rebel Heart and Madame X (to a lesser extent), felt very disjointed and more "throw everything at the wall and see what sticks". Madame X tried to have a vision but I don't think it was executed well in retrospect. What makes Madonna great is her ability to craft an entire era through an album. It is what so many popstars try to do (but can't execute it to her standard). This feels like it belongs with her back catalogue firmly and proves what makes Madonna, Madonna.
  16. LOVING the album. It is classic, self-referencing, a perfect natural continuation of the first album, fresh-sounding, lyrically on point, beautifully sung, sublime production and timeless sounding. There are so many moments I am loving (Fragile appreciation please!)
  17. We all know there are A LOT of variants for the latest album (), but which versions have you purchased or are planning to purchase? CDs, downloads, vinyls, which variants?
  18. Do people really think Telephone is a better song than The Edge of Glory?

  20. Continuing on from the last thread, it is good to see Bring Your Love back and yes it did decently on Apple Music and spent time in the top 100 there.
  21. I have gone for 30k - 39k. Anything around there will be a huge success for her at this stage in her career I think.
  22. "I don't got no shame left, baby, that's my freedom" 34. Thinking Of You 8.10 35. Raising Hell (feat. Big Freedia) 8.00 36. Only Love Can Save Us Now 7.95 37. Hymn 7.95 38. Blind 7.90 Continuing to get into some really big players now, including the album track Blind from the debut. In this triumphant song, Kesha sings of how she can never be forgotten and will be forever missed even when partners move on from her. It's totally empowering in the face of heartbreak. In Hymn, a promotional song for the Rainbow era, Kesha gives outsiders a chance to shine as she offers a hymn to those that do not fit in. Gag Order's big win is Only Love Can Save Us Now - the third single to be released from the album it is one of the most accessible and "user-friendly" songs on the album, so it is clear to see why it has done so well here compared to the other Gag Order tracks. The lead single from High Road is out, featuring Big Freedia, the song is about being "a bad bitch" with a good soul. Finally, Warrior's iconic album track Thinking Of You drops out. Kesha has described the song as a "sweet f*** you" and was performed as recently as the Tits Out Tour as part of a Warrior medley.
  23. Chasing Thunder is a MASSIVE favourite of mine and could be my favourite song that is out so far! Also love Sleazy of course and will.i.am is a shit stain on the music industry for the most part, but who can deny his mumbling *.*
