Definitely @ the Meat Dress. Proving her career extends beyond just the music! Also Shallow at the Oscars is another great pick. Not only was it a monumental musical moment but it was her time as an actress too and has obviously led to multiple big roles since. The performance still gives me goosebumps!

I watched this in the cinemas today and was totally blown away. It is Pixar at some of its finest. I won't spoiler too much but I heard online that the titular character has traits of autism / ASD and so I went in with this in mind. Doing so made this film immensely powerful and heart-warming especially as a teacher of many neuro-divergent children and trying to understand my own diversity. It was done in such a way that I imagine a lot of neuro-diverse people would see themselves in Elio but it wasn't made explicit or labelled and instead proved how beautiful our neuro-diversity is! And many would watch without seeing that take on the character and it's still a wonderful film without it! It is a beautiful film with some of Pixar's best animations, it's incredibly emotional but funny too. A must watch imo and a brilliant addition to Pixar's already amazing collection. ❤️

Pixar's latest follows an eleven-year-old boy named Elio Solís who accidentally becomes the intergalactic ambassador of planet Earth after being beamed up to the Communiverse by aliens for making contact. He must form new bonds with eccentric alien lifeforms and navigate a crisis of intergalactic proportions that involves the warlord father of an alien he befriended.

Mother is my 2nd favourite album of 2022, Uranium Heart and Camp Echo remain incredible albums and so my hype for this is through the roof. Can they deliver again? No one does painful, traumatic, operatic sounds quite like these guys.

Following on from the incredible MOTHER album form a few years ago, the Norway band are readying their 6th studio album called 'Testament'. It follows the release of two singles (so far) The album is out August 22nd 2025

I've rewatched 28 Days and 28 Weeks this weekend in anticipation of seeing this in the cinemas next weekend. Insanely hyped for it - the first two instalments remain incredible (awful acting from some of the cast aside). The shots of abandoned London in the early parts of 28 Days are some of my favourite cinema moments ever. Chilling, especially because it was done in real time because the film lacked a big budget to actually close off parts of the city.

Absolutely HOOKED on this. I pray it gets added to the digital/streaming versions of '.' !!

I am really saddened by how this era has played out and how disinterested the world seems to be towards it because it's another great album from her. It appears they may be "pushing" Every Girl You've Ever Loved as a single of sorts but it will fall on deaf ears unfortunately. Such a shame for the album to go largely ignored by the GP.
