KESHA - RATE. RESULTS.
"Out of all of them, you chose one who'll run free forever" 39. Shots On The Hood Of My Car 7.90 40. Crazy Kids (feat. will.i.am) 7.85 41. Grow A Pear 7.75 42. Chasing Thunder 7.75 43. Sleazy 7.75 Cannibal loses two tracks here. Firstly, we get Sleazy where Kesha goes rap on us, on top of a pounding beat. It was remixed with André 3000 as well as other versions and features lyrics of Kesha hitting back at the wealthy people that hit on her. In Chasing Thunder, the album's penultimate track, Kesha is free on the high road chasing her dreams - it is a beautifully uplifting and euphoric song about the power of freedom. Warrior's third single, Crazy Kids is out next which features will.i.am. In this version, Kesha's second verse is omitted in favour of will's and this was the version that eventually had a music video release. Finally, another of Animal's deluxe tracks added on to the 15th anniversary edition!

Lock&Key by Lola is sensational so I am intrigued by her inclusion on the album!

Obsession • 15th May 2026
Just back from the cinema. Loved it. Great to see new inspiring actors absolutely smash it out of the park - both are going to be big in the future. Horror is in the best place it has been in decades right now. Fresh directors with big ideas and getting the recognition they deserve. What a time to be a horror fan!

Wink Wink • 3rd single
This would definitely benefit from a middle 8 + final chorus. It definitely feels unfinished as much as I like what we have for its duration.

Streaming Services Chart Discussion; W/C 26/06/26
The issue here is that Spotify is a business and so wouldn't in the slightest be interested in fresh charts and new music. All they would care about is revenue, subscribers and money. People have probably always been more interested in music from the past but we just didn't notice this as much in the download era because once someone downloaded a MJ greatest hits, there was no reason for them to keep purchasing it for example. Streaming services need more subscribers. If that means keeping the classics in prominent positions, why would they stop placing it there. People are more likely to keep pressing play on Spotify if they see an artist they know and love as opposed to a newbie they have never heard of. It sucks though, because most of us on here do actively seek out new music and want it to do well but the critical mass... don't and streaming services are more concerned about the critical mass (unfortunately for us chart fans!).

Watch It Burn
I know she is far from a chart darling any more and streams may be rock bottom, but does she really not even have enough of a fanbase to get the song higher than #6 on iTunes?

KESHA - RATE. RESULTS.
"We're fallin' in love 'til the sun's comin' up, just livin' the life" 44. Crazy Beautiful Life 7.75 45. Tonight 7.75 46. True Colors 7.70 47. Till The World Ends (Britney Spears featuring Nicki Minaj and Kesha) 7.65 48. Only Wanna Dance With You 7.60 Warrior's Only Wanna Dance With You starts this selection. The song features uncredited vocals from the Strokes' lead singer, Julian Casablancas and samples the Strokes' song, "Last Nite". Two features now: the first is a remix of Britney's Femme Fatale single, alongside Nicki (and a very nasally set of vocals from Brit~) and then her collaboration with Zedd. Tonight from High Road is also out. The album's opening track was planned to be the album's second single, but this was not followed through - it did however become the album's fourth single in Australia. A missed opportunity! Finally a rare sighting from a Cannibal track as Crazy Beautiful Life bows out.

KESHA - RATE. RESULTS.
"This song makes me wanna have sex in my car" 49. Gold Trans Am 7.55 50. This Is Me 7.55 51. Holiday Road 7.50 52. LOVE FOREVER. 7.45 53. Eat The Acid 7.45 Gag Order's co-lead single is out first here. Eat The Acid is a darkwave, minimalist, synthing journey of a song and a far distance away from the sound that listeners knew Kesha for. A total statement of a song, it is abstract, jarring and perfectly encapsulates the confusion that its album aims to present. LOVE FOREVER. from period is also out, known mostly for its repetitive ever and ever and ever refrain that seems to go on forever! Two non-album songs now - Kesha's entry into the holiday song pot and a soundtrack song for The Greatest Showman. Warrior has been doing phenomenally in this but it loses one of its songs now as Gold Trans Am drives off.

"I pray when I'm desperate, I'm here on my knees" 54. CATHEDRAL. 7.45 55. Hunt You Down 7.40 56. Blah Blah Blah (feat. 3OH!3) 7.30 57. Let 'Em Talk (feat. Eagles Of Death Metal) 7.30 58. Rainbow 7.25 We lose the title track of Rainbow first. The song is a very important song for Kesha, and one that she replayed on repeat while struggling with life. She wrote the song in rehab and describes it as a promise to herself that things would get better (and they did!). Kesha's second single to ever be released drops out in a mid position - featuring 3OH!3 (yeah me neither x), the song was shadowed by the behemoth that was Tik Tok and the singles that proceeded it too. Hunt You Down from Rainbow plays at the start of the music video for Woman and is Kesha going full on outlaw country. And the final track from PERIOD. is out, a song that tells of Kesha's belief in spirituality and how we can all harnass our powers to become our own saviours.
