The highest of these is 'Living In My Head' which is a perfect representation of what the album stands for lyrically and thematically! We also lose her collab with Walker Hayes... anyone? (ties throughout are broken by numbers of high scores for each song)

You can still get tickets to see said band though? this seems like an added bonus for fans that do stream. It will most likely be a small percentage available through here just like O2 priority, or all the other gimmicks to give people early access. But this is much more in favour of the artists that those because the artists are also getting streams! Surely more of the issue people are raising are with things like O2 priority etc which has no benefit to the artist? Streaming their music to get access to early tickets is a win for both parties.

A good suggestion! Hope they do that too and hope other streaming platforms do the same. Here the government have introduced criminal charges for ticket touts but maybe even more can be done with Spotify, Apple, Deezer etcs support. Now we're getting somewhere.

And that's all valid but... how will any of that fix the issue we are discussing in this thread which is scammers getting hold of tickets before genuine fans. Surely this is a small step in the direction of making it more likely for fans to get access first. I have yet to see a better solution offered in this thread for that problem? And even if we do have better solutions, what are other streaming platforms or agencies doing to support that???

Also confused by the extreme reactions of hatred to this and yet a complete lack of suggestions for other possible ways of ensuring "real" fans get tickets as a priority... like what is Deezer doing to help the cause (away from how they split funds for artists - which is a separate issue)? What if the artist doesn't want to do multiple days because of exhaustion? Or because they want to tour multiple cities or countries instead? How is the world doomed because same genuine fans of artists will get tickets before ticket touters have a chance to? So much hyperbole with no real backing and before we even see how this will work..

But how else would you suggest "real" fans are given priority for tickets? Things like signing up to their newsletters is meaningless and fighting for them on the day is unfair given the amount of scammers around. For me this is a great way of rewarding fans and what better way ti show you're a fan than actually listening to the artist's music? Yes it is also to promote Spotify but good for them for also rewarding fans in a time when it is getting increasingly harder to see artists live!
