  1. What is Zayn/his record label trying to do with this campaign exactly? Releasing something every couple of weeks and seeing if it registers with anyone? In any case, I'm looking forward to Mark/Miley and what the Mø/Foster the People re-work sound like. Eager to hear the new Benny Blanco tune too, though I wish he'd waited a little longer while "I Found You" has its moment; the gap between "I Found You" and "Eastside" was perfect I thought.
  2. Odd to give James Arthur a solo performance slot this year but not Anne-Marie (though admittedly one and not the other is SyCo), but I reckon it'll be a mash-up. No Jess Glynne or Little Mix in the final is a very big surprise though - but perhaps there'll be some last minute additions!

Surely it's only realistically going to be Michael Buble or Take That - unless the labels just decide to outright stop promoting them. The 1975 should be able to debut at #1 with relatively big numbers (at least enough to beat Take That's week 2), but I can't see them maintaining these; happy to be proven wrong though.
  4. I still cannot get over the fact that this album missed the T100 here in the UK, it's criminal! "Blur" is the standout for me (with "Imaginary Friend" in close second), I hope this remix/a good music video can push it into the mainstream.
  5. Can we push for THIS to be the Christmas number 1 instead? His voice is just ridiculous - I hope R1 have sense and get on board with this ASAP given how the re-release of "Found What I've Been Looking For" seems to have boosted his profile a bit more.

Love how open the race is still at this point. George Ezra is making movement in the right direction, but it doesn’t look like a number 1 contender at this point (let alone a Christmas number 1 contender).
  7. Criminal that “Then” flopped, one of her best songs for me! Here for this Billie Eilish popularity surge!
  8. I've listened to this a few times now, and think it's great - such an easy listen. They need to hurry up and push "Bad Liar" as a single though - all these grats in the weeks leading up to the album release have made things slightly confusing.
  9. Voted for CamelPhat, Hozier and The Vaccines!
  10. Christmas songs this high already, wow/urgh!
  11. Annoying as it is, it makes sense to use the slot as a chance for people to put a name/face to a song they might have heard all over the radio; and it’s clearly had an effect on the song.

Tom Grennan’s “Found What I’ve Been Looking For” has already been re-released, and spent two week sun the T100 as a result; I really can’t see it coming back round a third time (at least not via R1’s support).
  13. Imagine Dragons for me!
  14. <_< @ the "Senseless" remix doing well - the original should've been a bigger hit than it was!

I’ve only just heard Alesso’s ‘Remedy’, and just can’t stop listening to it! Singles that I want to be huge hits: Clean Bandit & co - ‘Baby’benny blanco & Calvin Harris - I Found YouJonas Blue & co - PolaroidCharli XCX & Troye Sivan - 1999 Interested to hear/see how Rita Ora and Rudimental’s collaboration does too.
  16. Clean Bandit & co, with benny/Calvin in close second. Lots of great singles out this week though!
  17. It only gets me how huge "Love Me Like You Do" was (and still sounds) - what a single!

Clean Bandit - Baby (feat. Marina & Luis Fonsi)Benny Blanco & Calvin Harris - I Found You ^ Both out tomorrow, and could be contenders!
  19. Physicals Tom Odell - Jubilee Road
  20. Meh, much better tracks on the album; but "Perfect" seems to have caught a lot of fans' attention for its 'inspiring' lyrics. I wonder whether it'll do as well, if not better, than "2002".
  21. Having been massively underwhelmed upon first hearing "Funky Friday", it's really grown on me and I'm kind of glad it's got mainstream attention.
  22. While I wasn't/am not a huge fan of "On My Mind", there's no denying that was an immediately strong comeback single. This one'll be a grower - I already found myself enjoying it on the second listen, for example.

Crazy that George Ezra is the only real known contender at this point, though I don't think anyone's mentioned the next Clean Bandit single yet; and you can always count of them for a long running, #1 challenging hit. I'm all for some new songs dropping in the next month or so and challenging though, Rihanna perhaps?!

Odd release, much like Mabel's recent mixtape re-release, given that streaming services already compile artists' 'hits' for listeners (e.g., Jax Jones Essentials on Apple Music); but as others have said above hopefully this just means NEW music for a new EP/album is next.
