Need people to start streaming Lily Allen properly again to get those numbers up - was expecting an easy #1 with how quick some of the vinyl variants sold out (one was listed as 2k copies).

Thought Sam Fender’s debut would be on this list, but he’s still got 3/13 to go: White Privilege, Leave Fast, and Use (Live). Imagine they can’t be that far off.

Arctic Monkeys’ debut and ‘AM’ spring to mind too, as does George Ezra’s ‘Staying at Tamara’s’. It’d be a pretty interesting list!

Harry feels like a given, but hoping we get Arctics debuting within the T10!

ASAP Rocky for sure! Liking Skye Newman’s new track and Bruno’s too; although a bit bored of Bruno already.

Sombr is #3! That leaves: Alessi Rose Chloe Qisha Florence Road Jim Legxacy Kwn Sasha Keable Skye Newman Jim and Skye seem the most obvious candidates for the final two top 5 positions, but I’m here for someone else claiming one of these spots!

Shortlist: Ellie, Harriet, Fiona, Jade, Amanda Jade said she wanted to be a faithful though, I believe, so least likely. I think it’s Ellie.

Really hope the Djo resurgence encourages people to check out the rest of his discography - Basic Being Basic and Delete Ya from the latest album, in particular, deserve attention.

Thrilled to see RAYE get another #1 with WIMH!

If there’s a chance for Man I Need to get reset, then that. Otherwise expecting Taylor or KPop Demon Hunters to return to #1, though I’ll be streaming RAYE hard and hoping that can get it somehow.

I think this is a pretty good list, although sombr sticks out as someone who shouldn’t be on the Sound of 2026 list (I’d be surprised if his 2026 is bigger than his 2025 has been). EsDeeKid not getting longlisted is a surprise!

There’s a ton of other versions/covers appearing too - what’s happening?! HAVEN - I RUN (this is from a solo singer who’s been releasing under HAVEN for a while - might be why he’s changed to HAVEN. / potentially Micah’s Music) Bear Collective - I RUN Josh Fawaz - I RUN (Deep House) PL3X - I RUN (SPEED UP) DJ SHANKS - I RUN HMWME - I RUN

RAYE at #1, #35, and #186 - hope the push and vinyl release are enough to get her to #2 (if not #1)!

Really hoping Lily holds on to a T10 placement in the singles chart - it should do! Great to see Cat Burns on 8.3k in the albums - hope that clears 10k.

Went to get tickets for Bristol but was disappointed to see it was a seated gig. It’s sold out now in any case (great for Lily), so that clearly doesn’t bother others.

6x Platinum for Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” is insane - his best single in any case imo.

On paper, this should be huge, but I said the same about Sonny Fodera and Jazzy’s “All This Time” and that didn’t hit T40.

Loving Symmetry!

Listening back to Jack Saunders’ show from last Thursday and he announced it already… Gorillaz.

Sam Smith & Burna Boy’s My Oasis getting certified, lovely!

T40 for Olivia Dean’s “Lady Lady”, sweet!

Happy to see Olivia looking to debut within the T10 with this - album’s going to do well at this rate!

Happy to see Tom likely to get another #1 album, but I miss Tom’s original sound - this album isn’t for me.

Feels too early for the likes of Calvin, MK, and Olivia Dean, but happy to see some of the others ready to go on ACR.

Some great ones this week, but Lola Young is my favourite of them all - hope this can be another hit for her.
