So after being really disappointed at first, I have to say this has really grown on me - fingers crossed R1 get on board!

Blossoms' second album could challenge for number-one when released on April 27th (the debut spent two weeks, albeit during the dead of summer).

He’ll need to come back with something strong, else he’s going to go under the radar; what with George Ezra and James Bay, and newcomers like Tom Walker and Sam Fender getting radio (R1 specifically) support.

All signs point to this being a decent hit then. It’s just been added to the R1 playlist too!

“My Way” always felt soul-less, so I’m glad to hear that he wasn’t actually that excited by it either. Came across as a dig at Taylor following their break-up anyway, which I never liked. Here for “Nuh Ready Nuh Ready” though, getting garage and dancehall vibes from it; sounds fresh!

I did not call IAMDDB nor Rex Orange County being in the top 3 when there’s the likes of Alma, Sigrid, Not3s, and Tom Walker still to feature in the top 5! So hard to call a winner now. If the amount they are hammering Sigrid, Not3s and Tom Walker’s new singles are anything to go by though, perhaps Alma or someone else will be crowned winner. Convinced it won’t be Superorganism in any case, sadly, as they are Annie Mac’s tune of the week already. The Sound of poll really is one of the most exciting reveals in music (to me anyway!)

Very surprised to see them place Pale Waves in the top 5 actually, though I do really like them. Torn about who I think they’ll give the remaining spots to, but for now I’ll predict Not3s, Sigrid, Tom Walker, and Alma. The fact that Superorganism were a Hottest Record for Annie last Tuesday makes me think that they’ve just missed the cut sadly.

Paid for Apple Music - haven’t had any problems to make me look elsewhere, and like that it is all intergrated with my pre-streaming age Apple library.

I’ve gone for Jorja Smith - excited to hear the result in a few days’ time (we never have to wait long to find out).

Anne-Marie - Heavy Great performances from all this evening. Am I correct in thinking this is the first time Tom Grennan's been in the T100 with a solo hit? Admittedly not the current single ("Royal Highness"), but glad FWIBLF is getting some more exposure.

Both so good, but Stranger Things is just on another level.

Jessie J and Labrinth both releasing comeback singles... I had no idea. Wonder if either will turn into hits further down the line.

This is the best thing she's released to date, wish it had been a big hit for her.

Big feature for Ella, especially after the Feline era went a bit quiet after the album was actually released. Hope it does well for her, "Came Here For Love" is a tune!

Extremely sad circumstances, but it would be great to see "Heavy" re-peak. "I keep dragging around what's bringing me down. If I just let go, I'd be set free" :cry:

Another Drake single coming out? There are so many great songs on More Life that he didn't even get round to pushing properly!
