  1. Tom Walker T10 on iTunes with another single is something I didn't think we'd ever see, so pleased for him; though it's a shame "Angels" and "Walk Alone" didn't get this kind of success.
  2. Preview certainly makes it sound like a more radio-friendly track, so "Inhaler"/"My Number" release scenario comparisons seem pretty accurate so far. Excited to hear it!
  3. New single, "Lost", from BBC Sound of 2019 alumni Dermot Kennedy premieres on Annie Mac's show tonight. https://twitter.com/DermotKennedy/status/1093091389867548672 Looking forward to this one! EDIT: Audio uploaded FB1dDpdi7uc

Surprised that "Crying Lightning" by Arctic Monkeys is only now hitting 200k - it's by no means one of their biggest/best, but I would've thought even older singles would've benefited from their 'AM' era streaming success.

A couple of non-T40 tracks to watch: 43. Bring Me the Horizon - Medicine (peak: #42) 44. Camelphat & Cristoph (feat. Jem Cooke) - Breathe (peak: #62) 52. Kehlani (feat. Ty Dolla Sign) - Nights Like This (peak: #52) 53. Lauv & Troye Sivan - I'm So Tired (peak: N/A) 66. Bring Me the Horizon - Mother Tongue (peak: N/A) 67. Bring Me the Horizon (feat. Grimes) - Nihilist Blues (peak: N/A) 73. Sub Focus & Dimension - Desire (peak: #73) 75. Wiley, Sean Paul & Stefflon Don (feat. Idris Elba) - Boasty (peak: N/A) 85. Florence and the Machine - Moderation (peak: N/A) 92. Foals - Exits (peak: N/A) 93. Tom Walker - Just You and I (peak: #96) Hoping album streams can help push "Medicine" into the T40, would be a worthy first T40 for the band!
  6. I hope that with those four names attached to the song, this does SOMETHING.
  7. Mabel > all others. Ariana Grande track is nothing special (will grow on me no doubt), and neither is the Sigrid track (MUCH prefer "Strangers" and "Sucker Punch").
  8. I know it's 'commercial', but "Medicine" might just be my favourite BMTH song to date. Really hoping it (and the album) get enough streams next week to give it the T40 position it deserves!
  9. Gorillaz was 2017 and 2018 I thought, but in any case you could add Future to this list; he released two albums one week after the other I seem to recall. Really hope the two album thing doesn’t make for a messy album campaign - they seemed to well and truly breakthrough with their last two albums (last in particular).
  10. While it’s the lowest weekly sales to date (LOL), it’s great that this album has hit the T10 now - if only so their album discography doesn’t make it seem like they got LESS popular between eras.
  11. He confirmed in an interview with Annie Mac last year that the title track features Tove Lo too - very excited to hear this album!

Curveball, was not expecting Octavian to win. Really interesting music though - collaboration with Mura Masa ("Move Me") in particular is great!

Of the remaining acts, I'm only really enthused by what Sea Girls have/are putting out; but it's very unlikely they'll put a band at #1. It's between Dermot Kennedy and Mahalia now most likely - can't see either having that big success on the singles chart (in fact, none of the T10 this year scream 'chart' artists).
  14. Really enjoying the latest two singles, having written her off as someone I could ever get into after hearing the dreary “Lottery”; hope it can be a decent selling debut for her.

I'm glad to see it T10 too, too good a track from George not to also make the T10. Hope it can stay there for a while/continue to climb!
  16. Big fan of Fleur East’s comeback, but Bring Me the Horizon’s new one tops it for me.

Don't think I ever heard that Eminem track, shame they've taken it off already. Great to see Sunflower Bean and The Vaccines both moving up though - I've heard the latter, in particular, on a number of different Apple Music/Spotify playlists; so it'd be great if it/they could hit the T100 somehow (wishful thinking, I know). Great adds from Bring Me the Horizon, Circa Waves and Nao!
  18. They always do well on streaming and things have only grown since their last album, so fingers crossed for a big chart hit (i.e., their first T40, although 7 of their 12 singles to date have all gone at least Silver!)
  19. 60. FISHER - “Losing It” 64. Take That - “Out Of Our Heads” 73. Sam Smith - “Fire on Fire”

You sound surprised by that fact :heehee: Surprised that Portugal The Man is their most played, “Body”, “17” and “All the Stars” standout as tracks they have played a lot; at least to me.
  21. Physical albums Clean Bandit - What Is Love? Florence and the Machine - High as Hope Kodaline - The Politics of Living Mø - Forever Neverland Received Imagine Dragons' Origins and twenty one pilots' Trench for Christmas too, forgot to post in last week's thread.
  22. Album is showing signs of holding up well (current chart run: 19-24-27-25), which is promising. Hopefully it can re-peak once all of the big Christmas/physical sellers drop a bit.
  23. It's stabilised in the lower end of the T40 now at least (current run: 1-33-37-39) - I was not expecting the album to be THAT front-loaded.

You'd think, same with slowthai, but they had Tom Walker playlisted around this time last year I believe and he didn't make their top five.

Selena Gomez and/or Demi Lovato to return with a big single.
