UK Christmas Number 1, 2018
Love how open the race is still at this point. George Ezra is making movement in the right direction, but it doesn’t look like a number 1 contender at this point (let alone a Christmas number 1 contender).

Jax Jones & Years & Years - Play
Excited!

Spotify Chart Thread 2018 [VI - November]
Criminal that “Then” flopped, one of her best songs for me! Here for this Billie Eilish popularity surge!
-
Imagine Dragons | Origins
I've listened to this a few times now, and think it's great - such an easy listen. They need to hurry up and push "Bad Liar" as a single though - all these grats in the weeks leading up to the album release have made things slightly confusing.

Buzzjack's Track of the Week - Week 16
Voted for CamelPhat, Hozier and The Vaccines!

Christmas songs this high already, wow/urgh!

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 16th November 2018
Annoying as it is, it makes sense to use the slot as a chance for people to put a name/face to a song they might have heard all over the radio; and it’s clearly had an effect on the song.

2019 Predictions
Tom Grennan’s “Found What I’ve Been Looking For” has already been re-released, and spent two week sun the T100 as a result; I really can’t see it coming back round a third time (at least not via R1’s support).

Buzzjack's Track of the Week - Week 15
Imagine Dragons for me!

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 9th November 2018
<_< @ the "Senseless" remix doing well - the original should've been a bigger hit than it was!

Friday Chart Predictions
Ladies set to dominate the T10 this week then - haven't noticed a week like this in a long time, given that we usually have Ed Sheeran/Drake/George Ezra/Calvin Harris in there. Great to see Charli XCX hitting the T40 too! Album-wise, it's great to see those sales for Olly really given that the lead single hasn't really done anything. Disappointed to see Imagine Dragons in the lower end of the T10, hopefully it can hang on though; and Jonas Blue can improve on his placing (I thought he'd at least match Sigala's T20 debut).

Future Hits?
I’ve only just heard Alesso’s ‘Remedy’, and just can’t stop listening to it! Singles that I want to be huge hits: Clean Bandit & co - ‘Baby’benny blanco & Calvin Harris - I Found YouJonas Blue & co - PolaroidCharli XCX & Troye Sivan - 1999 Interested to hear/see how Rita Ora and Rudimental’s collaboration does too.
-
Buzzjack's Track of the Week - Week 14
Clean Bandit & co, with benny/Calvin in close second. Lots of great singles out this week though!
-
Ellie Goulding’s Official Top 10
It only gets me how huge "Love Me Like You Do" was (and still sounds) - what a single!
-
UK Christmas Number 1, 2018
Clean Bandit - Baby (feat. Marina & Luis Fonsi)Benny Blanco & Calvin Harris - I Found You ^ Both out tomorrow, and could be contenders!

Your Chart Contributions: Week Beginning 26/10/18
Physicals Tom Odell - Jubilee Road
-
Anne-Marie - Perfect to Me
Meh, much better tracks on the album; but "Perfect" seems to have caught a lot of fans' attention for its 'inspiring' lyrics. I wonder whether it'll do as well, if not better, than "2002".

Freaky Friday vs. Funky Friday
Having been massively underwhelmed upon first hearing "Funky Friday", it's really grown on me and I'm kind of glad it's got mainstream attention.
-
Radio 1 Discussion
In some cases it even works/makes sense - Tom Grennan, for example, entered the T100 with the re-released 'FWIBLF' for the first time.
-
Friday Chart Predictions
Tom Odell in at #2 is pleasing to see, though disappointed to see Robyn not even T10 and Nao at the lower end of the T40 :(
-
Friday Chart Predictions
Praying that the likes of Tom Odell, Nao and Ray BLK (though I'm still unsure at this point whether it's being considered an 'album') can all do well. Interested to see where The Black Eyed Peas land too - strange that there has been seemingly no talk of their return; let alone a whole album's worth of material.
-
Ellie Goulding, Diplo & Swae Lee - Close to Me
While I wasn't/am not a huge fan of "On My Mind", there's no denying that was an immediately strong comeback single. This one'll be a grower - I already found myself enjoying it on the second listen, for example.

UK Christmas Number 1, 2018
Crazy that George Ezra is the only real known contender at this point, though I don't think anyone's mentioned the next Clean Bandit single yet; and you can always count of them for a long running, #1 challenging hit. I'm all for some new songs dropping in the next month or so and challenging though, Rihanna perhaps?!

Jax Jones - Snacks
Odd release, much like Mabel's recent mixtape re-release, given that streaming services already compile artists' 'hits' for listeners (e.g., Jax Jones Essentials on Apple Music); but as others have said above hopefully this just means NEW music for a new EP/album is next.
-
Normani & Calvin Harris - Checklist / Slow Down
Calvin’s pushing the David Guetta remix of “Promises” out tomorrow at the moment, so thinking we won’t get this just yet - excited nonetheless.
