  1. Top 3 with 10-15k, but I am all here for it selling much higher - "2002" is exceeding all first week expectations for me at the moment!
  2. Presumably they'll be included on some kind of deluxe edition, but odd that that hasn't been put up from pre-order too though. Shame really, as "On My Mind" in particular was probably the best received track when I saw her live back in February. In any case, I'm excited for this album - what a voice!

“These Days” for me. Wasn’t keen on “God’s Plan”, nor “Freaky Friday” at first; but they’ve grown on me. “River” is just garbage though, glad it wasn’t any bigger than it was! “One Kiss” really does need to swoop in and save 2018!

+1 for being glad to see "Never Enough" and "A Million Dreams" finally getting to chart!
  6. They've said before that they have been working on a ~6 month cycle, so there should be something coming towards the end of the month/early April ("I Miss You" came out 27th October 2017).

Calum Scott ahead of Editors? I was sure Editors would debut quite nicely with this album - it's had decent R1/R2 coverage.
  8. 5 weeks at #2 for Rudimental & co. is just cruel though, I hope it can sneak a week in somewhere; even if it is just by default when "God's Plan" goes on ACR. This said, I can't really think of any impending returns that would challenge for number-one... Unless Rihanna drops something? Or Little Mix?

So after being really disappointed at first, I have to say this has really grown on me - fingers crossed R1 get on board!
  10. Blossoms' second album could challenge for number-one when released on April 27th (the debut spent two weeks, albeit during the dead of summer).

Not sure why they would, the album’s great! :D
  12. He’ll need to come back with something strong, else he’s going to go under the radar; what with George Ezra and James Bay, and newcomers like Tom Walker and Sam Fender getting radio (R1 specifically) support.
  13. All signs point to this being a decent hit then. It’s just been added to the R1 playlist too!
  14. “My Way” always felt soul-less, so I’m glad to hear that he wasn’t actually that excited by it either. Came across as a dig at Taylor following their break-up anyway, which I never liked. Here for “Nuh Ready Nuh Ready” though, getting garage and dancehall vibes from it; sounds fresh!

    Biffy Clyro
  16. I did not call IAMDDB nor Rex Orange County being in the top 3 when there’s the likes of Alma, Sigrid, Not3s, and Tom Walker still to feature in the top 5! So hard to call a winner now. If the amount they are hammering Sigrid, Not3s and Tom Walker’s new singles are anything to go by though, perhaps Alma or someone else will be crowned winner. Convinced it won’t be Superorganism in any case, sadly, as they are Annie Mac’s tune of the week already. The Sound of poll really is one of the most exciting reveals in music (to me anyway!)
  17. Very surprised to see them place Pale Waves in the top 5 actually, though I do really like them. Torn about who I think they’ll give the remaining spots to, but for now I’ll predict Not3s, Sigrid, Tom Walker, and Alma. The fact that Superorganism were a Hottest Record for Annie last Tuesday makes me think that they’ve just missed the cut sadly.

Paid for Apple Music - haven’t had any problems to make me look elsewhere, and like that it is all intergrated with my pre-streaming age Apple library.

I’ve gone for Jorja Smith - excited to hear the result in a few days’ time (we never have to wait long to find out).

    Sigrid does it again!
  21. Sounds Like Friday Night 12. Craig David - I Know You (feat. Bastille) 57. Tom Grennan - Found What I've Been Looking For 67. The Killers - The Man 68. Craig David - Heartline 92. Anne-Marie - Heavy Great performances from all this evening. Am I correct in thinking this is the first time Tom Grennan's been in the T100 with a solo hit? Admittedly not the current single ("Royal Highness"), but glad FWIBLF is getting some more exposure.
  22. Kong: Skull Island - 6/10 Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 - 9/10
  23. Both so good, but Stranger Things is just on another level.
