  1. A single version featuring Arlo Parks was released recently - I expect that’ll make the R1 playlist in the coming weeks, I’ve heard Annie Mac play it a few times already.
  2. Royal Blood is the correct answer here.
  3. Massive improvement on the debut album (despite “Brazil” and “Isombard” both being some of the best songs in recent times in my opinion), have had it on repeat the past few weeks! “Rapture” would make a great next single.
  4. Sam Smith is the only good track on that list!

I've really enjoyed all of the singles from this era ("I'm Ready" probably the least) - really hope we get an album soon, and that a hit single ("Diamonds" perhaps) can precede it!
  7. One of the standout albums of 2020 in my opinion, and definitely their best - nice to see it do so well in the charts!
  8. How anyone can be voting anything other than Glass Animals I'll never know - incredible track!
  9. Really hope the change in single cover style doesn’t indicate that this single will be the first from the new album and that the other singles are left out/included as bonus tracks only.
  10. That single cover is incredible - high hopes for a banger!
  11. Michael Kiwanuka will almost certainly get a nomination. FKA Twigs and Tom Misch/Yussef Dayes are great shouts too.
  12. Along with the latest tracks by Ella Henderson and Becky Hill/Sigala, I’ve had Joel Corry/MNEK on repeat all week - would welcome it hitting #1!
  13. So many great releases this week - Glass Animals is the standout for me. Voted for this as well as the two Kanye tracks, AJ/Mabel, Disclosure, and Joel Corry/MNEK.
  14. Wasn’t a fan of “Boyfriend” nor “Dinner Guest” at first, but had both on repeat after a few weeks - have high hopes for this. At worst we’ll get a similar track to Mabel’s Not3s collaborations surely, which I am OK with.
  15. Could be pretty big, let's see!
  16. His vocals on Know Your Worth stand out from this list, Silence in a close second.
  17. AJ Tracey, Glass Animals and Sea Girls for me. Haven’t heard new Haim nor Kodaline yet though.
  18. The Weeknd pushed down to 0.660. “Times Like These” also back up to #7 on Apple Music, #30 on Amazon Music, and #97 on Spotify (a peak I believe). Come on, you can do this!
  19. BBC Radio 1 really pushing for #1: 1.0000 Live Lounge Allstars 0.1692 Michael Ball, Captain Tom Moore et al 0.0770 The Weeknd
  20. Agree. It’s already gone Silver though, so still a successful release in my eyes.
  21. Vanilla dance record, but no doubt that her vocals on “Heroes” are the best from this list.
  22. Take Me Home!
  23. He seemed to lose it after the Jess Glynne #1... Youth was a pretty disappointing album. This, in any case, is meh after first listen. I’m not even sure Not3s is a big enough name at the moment to draw the UK hip hop crowd in. Happy to be proven wrong of course and Tinie (note: he’s dropped the Tempah) return to the charts!
  24. This is unbelievably dull, vocals don’t even sound that much like Paloma Faith
  25. “My Love”, followed by the two Clean Bandit collaborations.
