  1. I saw this earlier! Amazing! And if I'm right in recalling "Girlfriend" was both Nadine and Nicola's first single they bought!

She's on the bill at Flackstock at Englefield House in Reading on 22nd July. I'm going to that anyway so can't wait!
  3. I would like to be proved wrong, but somehow I don't think we're getting anymore reissues this side of the tour...
  4. Huh. Doesn't look like we should be getting our hopes up too high going on Scott's caption here?

The reissue and Palladium gig are at long last, this weekend. Can't believe how quickly it's come round! She's done an amusing unboxing video of the limited edition boxset on her Instagram: She also performed 'Sophia' live into "Loose Ends" on Radio 4 on Saturday just gone: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m001yb85?...in=share-mobile

Another new song from the album is released this Friday: "Good Mourning" featuring Shola Ama and General Levy: @1777396011138183352
  7. So it would appear they're on with Scott Mills on his Radio 2 show next Thursday afternoon "bringing some Girls Aloud news ahead of their UK tour later this year": https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001xvzb Looks like we're getting another announcement of some description inside the next week, then! Instinctively I'm wondering if it might be the Chemistry reissue?
  8. Just wanted to share this that Nadine posted on TikTok today.
  9. Yeah I'd forgotten about that on the video admittedly. But the production is fundamentally the same otherwise as the Ash Howes single mix. Maybe it was a mastering error when the video was first made that meant it was double tracked slightly?
  10. I was always under the assumption that they were one and the same?
  11. The gorgeous Paris set video for the fourth and final single from the Chemistry era - and their landmark 12th consecutive top 10 hit - is now available in 4K:
  12. This to all the above!
  13. The single and video that's Cheryl's all-time favourite(!) and which was considered a better single option when the rest of Chemistry was right there is now available in 4K:
  14. So incredible! The supergroup crossover we all need! I left a comment on this post and suggested about them bringing out some of these ladies on the tour as surprise guests on select nights. Maybe to sing one of their own songs from their bands? JLS did something similar on their most recent tour and had like Max George from The Wanted pop out and do "Glad You Came" and Olly Murs do "Heart Skips A Beat".
  15. Been confirmed today that Xenomania alumni (and amazing artist in her own right) Florrie, who drummed on "The Promise" and co-wrote "Something New", will be supporting the girls at the five O2 dates of the tour! So buzzing for this and also so weird because I was literally just listening to some of her old EPs last night. She has a new album on the way herself in June: Also confirmed that Mr Theo - who DJ'ed at the Primrose Ball for Sarah - will be DJ'ing as opening at all shows:
  16. I know! The test tube ones were far superior. Likewise the magazine covers for Love Machine (this despite the fact Cheryl forgot she had cat ears on)
  17. I forgot how hard the Tony Lamezma remix of this slapped! (Also I just noticed the topic subtitle incorrectly has the release date down as 14th October when it was 14th November. Sorry to be that person but just thought I'd mention it).
  18. Digital EP out tomorrow:
  19. I mean TBF I have seen Rach wear glasses in the last year. This little game they did for Heart being one instance: kqtdkSjpJmc
  20. That was the idea  You've gotta laugh at the situation haven't you? I think I'll just return it and get a refund. I've got no guarantee that any replacement won't do the same thing, and then I'd be lumbered with a vinyl with no value at all. Just hope they give us a standard black vinyl later down the line.
  21. Looks like I'm contacting HMV to request a refund in the morning then :( Just hope they've got a standard black vinyl coming that's free of this aggro.
  22. Lovely to see it return to the top 40 👏🏻 Meanwhile, I've gone to play my copy today and it would appear I've wound up with a massively faulty one, and I'm not the only one. I've seen so many people on X and Popjustice in the last week saying the same thing and having the same problem I am. It's less "Skip a beat and move with my body" and more "Skip all through the bloody song and accumulate a massive quantity of dust on my stylus". I've cleaned the vinyl about three times now and the same thing is still happening. I'm so disappointed because I've been looking forward to this release for ages. I never had this problem with the Fever or Impossible Princess reissues!
  23. Quick question - and maybe it's an obvious one. Would this include streams from the album on The Collection?
  24. I tell you what is interesting - and I think it was Kimberley who said it in her book. But Hilary apparently called Peter Loraine after Popstars and asked him quite bluntly why she wasn't managing them and Louis was. Truly #queenbehaviour! Hilary is for me one of the most perfect managers because she has a bloody good business head but she is also nurturing and she proved herself time and again in doing the best for them but also managing five very strong personalities and keeping them all united. She runs rings around a lot of other music managers I've witnessed!
