No - it was the single after this ("I Said Never Again") π

Hannah Spearritt: Facing the Music
I had the strongest feeling that something like this was coming, especially with all the rumours doing the rounds about contract disputes after she bowed out the tour. I think we can safely say Simon Fuller is about to be torn a new one - and rightly so!

Emilie - If I Didn't Stay
This came up in my Spotify "Discover Weekly" playlist. Emilie Cunliffe - to give her her full name - is the daughter of former Hear'Say and Coronation Street star Kym Marsh (they're actually touring together in the Take That musical Greatest Days at the moment). This is actually not bad at all - got a bit of a bluesy, jazzy feel to it. Pleasantly surprising!

S Club 7 - Don't Stop Movin'
Mine arrived today but I'm gonna have to return it for an exchange straight away. The vinyl was rammed down into the paper sleeve - which is damaged - and thus there's a load of heavy sticky marks which despite my best efforts to clean are now embedded in, rendering it unplayable. Honestly, FML π

- Appleton - Everything's Eventual (Vinyl Release)
Got a replacement through returns, yes - fortunately that one wasn't scuffed!- S Club 7 - Don't Stop Movin'
Just had my email today as well. What an absolute joke. It's almost as if this has given Simon the excuse to do the bare minimum between this and the streaming renaming erasure!- The OCC website gets a makeover
Loving the new look! I especially like that you've got comprehensive runs for every artist in the chart now too.- Appleton - Everything's Eventual (Vinyl Release)

I have it on good word from Popjustice that a digital deluxe edition of the album plus the three singles (b-sides, remixes and all) are arriving on streaming and download tomorrow!- S Club 7 - Don't Stop Movin'
Same Jay. First Nialler, then Girls Aloud, now S Club. It's getting ridiculous!- Sound of the Underground - UK Chart Thread 2023
I did find it quite amusing that the album re-entered at the same position as the reissue with the white cover and "Jump" and "Girls On Film" did when that came out in December 2003 ^_^ Predictably, over on Popjustice they've descended into doomsayers catastrophising this and saying the other reissues won't happen. Let's be realistic for a second here; this is their least successful or fondly remembered album, all things considered. Not great that it was so front loaded at the start of the week, true. But on balance, for a 20 year old album that had already sold over 300k, it's not a bad result. Peter and Fascination obviously - and quite rightly - didn't want to overdo it with the formats, particularly since the more successful albums are still to come. I am sure that they A) won't be scrapping this reissues series altogether and B) that we'll get the other video remasters in due course. Chris Fox dropped the hint on the post from the No Good Advice video that it was on the way, anyway!- 20th Anniversary Pop Day

So Girls Aloud did come out on top - relatively speaking - re-entering at #42 (which spookily was the position it re-entered at when the reissue with "Jump" and "Girls On Film" came out in December 2003!) Dannii re-entered at #55. No sign of Appleton in the top 100 BUT they did make the top 30 of the Independent Album Chart and Vinyl Album Chart!- Appleton - Everything's Eventual (Vinyl Release)
Obviously no sign of this on the top 100 this week, but: #22 on Independent Album Chart #28 on Vinyl Album Chart #46 on Physical Album Chart Not a shabby set of statistics at all, that!- Appleton - Everything's Eventual (Vinyl Release)
Both my white and purple copies arrived today (actually, the Amazon one did on Saturday, but I ended up requesting a replacement cause the sleeve got scuffed in transit which I wasn't happy about, so they sent me a replacement one!) As I said when this thread first started, I knew realistically this was unlikely to re-enter the chart but to have it on vinyl at all is what I'm really overjoyed about. It's still one of my all time favourite albums and it's such a beautifully done reissue. I will treasure it for sure!- Rachel Stevens - Come & Get It
I'd say it's a fairly safe bet we'll get this and Funky Dory on vinyl and deluxe anniversary reissues in the next couple of years. After all if Appleton have just issued their only album on two coloured vinyls this week there's nothing to say Rachel couldn't!- Girls Aloud - Sound of the Underground
My bundle was dispatched late afternoon yesterday. But I've now got to wait until Monday cause no one answered the door for it to be delivered today. I am a bit pissed off, yes π€ Progress, much (not). I'm the same as you Jay, I wanted to enjoy mine this weekend especially cause I've got a busy full on day on Monday.- Appleton - Everything's Eventual (Vinyl Release)
It's out now - the purple HMV one is now part of their Vinyl Week releases which are on sale today (although my pre-order of it was still fulfilled and got dispatched yesterday): @1669708526871035904 The colours look absolutely stunning on these π- S Club: Streaming and Download Presence
I think between this and what is now apparently happening with Hannah getting lawyers in, I'm suddenly feeling quite worried...- S Club: Streaming and Download Presence
With the exception of the Seeing Double album, their whole discography is now tagged as S Club on Spotify :(- Do you think Steps can have a Padam Padam moment?
I've gone for yes - and why the hell not I say! Having been to my first show of theirs last year and seeing just how wide their audience was - people my age of course, but also teenagers, kids, older people - I'd say there's definitely potential for them to have a "Padamoment" (I'm going with this). I dare say that in anticipation of such a moment that Peter Loraine and Fascination will now beaver away trying to find a song that has the wide connection this has had. And OK, you could argue that with "Padam Padam" it's been a perfect storm that's hard to replicate. But if this gives hope to other pop acts of a certain vintage to do the same, then there's nothing wrong with that. The charts will always throw up obstacles that work more to the favour of current acts than they do older ones. But they're not insurmountable if you have the right song and strategy in place.- Niall Horan - Welcome To The Show Tour
ThePensmith posted a post in a topic in Harry Styles and One Direction's Harry Styles and One DirectionFloor at all venues is now standing which is a bummer - but I got Block N6 seated for Wembley Arena in the pre-sale this morning! Fortunately was quite a smooth booking compared to other pre-sales I've done recently so can't complain with that at all. Looking forward to it βΊοΈ- B*Witched - TBA
Another limited edition vinyl of the debut is coming on 23rd next month, this time in blue, limited to 1000 copies worldwide: https://townsendmusic.store/product/115004 Also "C'est La Vie" was officially released 25 years ago this week! What even?- Niall Horan - Welcome To The Show Tour
ThePensmith posted a post in a topic in Harry Styles and One Direction's Harry Styles and One DirectionSame. It's so much easier for me to get to, I know the area better, I literally get off my train in from Essex, hop on the Jubilee Line at Stratford and I'm there at North Greenwich in no time at all! Anyway looks as if the tickets aren't more than Β£60 or so for decent seats, which is what I'm aiming for! - Appleton - Everything's Eventual (Vinyl Release)
