  1. £800 bet on JB - looking at Kworb and tears are appearing hahah. I have faith though. ^_^ Edit: I'm not a complete lunatic, a friend and I put £400 on each. :P
  2. Think I'm happiest about Jamie xx's Loud Places finally gaining some traction! Pre-ordered the album on the first day, going to be brilliant.
  3. 143. Future Islands - Seasons (Waiting On You ) Nice increase after Jools already! Trending nationwide on twitter after that amazing performance.
  4. Lana Del Rey Online ‏@LanaDReyOnline Due to overwhelming demand and popular reception, 'West Coast' will be rush released and will be on UK iTunes tomorrow! I can see this debuting in the top 10. Been on repeat all day... there's just something special about it.
  5. Random but I'm quite shocked at the number of members who are still at school. I don't mean that in any sort of condescending way at all btw, I'm still at school myself lol. Just didn't realise. I showed my friends Tove Lo end of last year and I'm so glad it's blowing up now. Still sort of gutted than Sweater Weather didn't smash.
  6. If you're aged between 16 - 24, live in the UK and love music (and the charts, so basically everyone on this forum) you will probably be interested in this. Project from Sony Music record label and will probably get some good experience out of it. If anyone did the White Noise project (also by Sony) it's like a continuation but in much more depth than that. http://www.crowddna.com/blog/Music/
  7. Random, but I was out in Birmingham City Centre a few weeks back and seen someone from Benefit Street. I don't even watch the show but everyone who I was with pointed it out. :P Some pretty great tracks are getting released in the upcoming weeks, a shame some will miss out on the #1 though. :(
  8. This morning she released a new song/single called 'Our Time' and it's video. (Also, the album release date, artwork and tracklist. Fun, fun, fun if you're a Lily Allen fan.) Sheezus info
  9. I'm pretty young and have only just got a job in the past 3 months so I've only just started buying physical albums as I've had the disposable cash. Most of my mates just think I'm a weirdo wasting my money but I actually love buying albums, probably cause I'm just a huge music and chart geek.
  10. Happy is doing really well. Hope it can eventually reach the top 10!
  11.  I didn't even realise. Just had a v. quick look and didn't see it. :w00t: :w00t: What Now to be a Top 10 smash please!
  12. Wonder when What Now is going to get added by Radio 1. Heard once on Capital already.
  13. He better be sticking around for a while, his album is surprisingly very good.
  14. Eminem might have 3 songs in the official singles chart this week! Survival will obviously get ahead Work Bitch soon to reach #6 and Berzerk will be #9 once Work Bitch, Dope & Bad Day falls. I don't think Rap God has a chance though.
  15. Right? Just have a look at these indie and alternative blogs who do not give two shits about what Gaga does or releases. The only time she's ever been the tiniest part of that world, was during Bad Romance when everyone was raving about her (even pitchfork).
  16. Gaga's persona during The Fame era (particularly while Poker Face was dominating) was why it was so big and why people see it as so influential and iconic. Imo, without Gaga behind these songs, they would not have been half as huge as they were and would not be known as one of these 'future classics'. But that's not taking away from the songs themselves as they were pretty amazing (and that's coming from someone who doesn't actually like Poker Face but always preferred Just Dance). It's different now anyway, cause obviously we're looking back and we know just how big her career has gone but at that time, it wasn't particularly about Poker Face or Bad Romance as their own songs, it was about Gaga as this relatively new artist who brought something new to the pop game (in the sense of artistry), the brilliant songs were just apart of the whole package.
  17. Does anyone seeing Animals actually knocking The Monster of the #1 spot next week? Even with the Children In need exposure I don't see that Ellie Goulding track doing *that* much. 3 consecutive weeks at #1 please . All here for my boys Bastille to knock TM off in the following week though.
  18. Katy B 5 AM for that surprise #1 please.
  19. The comparison was not directly referring to the content of each station but more so their target audience. I just always thought of each respective station as sort of rivals who are trying to get the biggest listenership for each age demographic (especially Radio 1 and Capital).
  20. Anyone else thinking that CapitalXtra is actually pretty great? I find it so amusing that Global Radio actually went with the 'Xtra', they don't even try and hide any more that they're going straight for the BBC Radio's listeners (Heart FM - Radio 2, Capital - Radio 1, CapitalXtra - 1Xtra, Classic FM - Radio 4(?)).
  21. Gary's been listening to Phillip Phillip's albums.
  22. 55. Sam Smith - Nirvana Falling already :(. Shameless promo: check out my review of the Nirvana EP here if you want. My first ever review :P.
  23. Just bought the Nirvana EP. Best track in the top 100?
  24. Wow! When did Hollywood Records start getting their shit together? Skyscrapper
  25. RihRih just slayed What Now on Alan Carr. Now the rise to #1 please!
