Of course every artist can flop, but I presume you are talking about flopping in a drastic way, ala Ciara post Fantasy Ride era. I honestly think Rihanna is now that much of an established artist that she cannot and will not just fade away (flop) suddenly. She's been in the industry for 7 years and has 6 albums. She's kind of a brand, just like with Beyonce. Also, she (and her team; producers, songwriters, management etc) are clever. They will not make the same mistakes that those artists up there did (releasing dated music, taking too long of a break and changing 'who they are 'too much; musically and image wise). The only way she can fuxk it up is by, I don't know...killing someone or doing something that bad that will cause the public to hate her. :P Which is never gonna happen. :wub:

How come Bloc Party's album is already released digitally? It says it was released on the 17th but that would mean some of its sales would be for the week ending yesterday (I think I'm correct there).

When did Wings by Little Mix premiere? Friggin ridiculous how they haven't released it yet. I've never heard a song so much before its been actually released, it's like it has been everywhere for about 2 months. *_* Even though I love the track I want it to debut big and then bomb down the charts within 2 weeks. Porto Robinson - Language, Aiden Grimshaw - Curtain Call and Bloc Party - Octopus are some of the best singles released this year imo. I'd love for all 3 to go top 10 but I think only Language is likely to do that well. :(

Does anyone know if Stooshe has a new single out at the start of next month? Their albums out on the 3rd (or maybe the 10th, :P can't remember) so unles they are going to go into the album release on the success of Black Heart, they should be premiering something right about now. Can totally se their album debuting at #1 with around 40k (which is not spectacular but pretty good in these times).

Underperforming On air/On sale singles from artists with big fan bases tend to reach the top 10 on initial release, fans buying in droves, but then not reach the official top 10, either cause the single is released mid week or it just doesn't have any longevity. e.g. Run The World - Beyonce, Christmas Lights - Coldplay, Survival - Muse, Till The World Ends - Britney Spears (I think?), Hair - Lady Gaga etc. There must be others but they're not coming to mind.

Yeah, you're right. :) On the week ending 15/10/2010, Tinie Tempah had Written in the Stars at #3 and Miami 2 Ibiza at #5. :wub: While I was looking to see if Rihanna ever achieved the feat I came across this week in the archives: 18th December 2010 (the week before Christmas). LOVE that top 10, bar Heroes and maybe Poison aswell. :wub: :wub: It's most likely because Rihanna had 3 entries that week. :P

When was the last time an artist had two songs in the top 3 (or even top 5) at the same time? (Is Calvin actually credited on Spectrum or...?)
