Just bought the Nirvana EP. Best track in the top 100?

Nirvana has to be a top 40 smash. Come on, up it to the C list!

Wow! When did Hollywood Records start getting their shit together? Skyscrapper

RihRih just slayed What Now on Alan Carr. Now the rise to #1 please!

Has Sleigh Bells released Bitter Rivals yet? Only track I've been waiting for to buy.

Oh wow, glad to see Things We Lost In The Fire comfortably in the top 40. I thought that it'd only manage one week in the top 40 (officially) then linger around the 40-50 region for quite a while.

!! Imo, Humbug>Favourite Worst Nightmare (only just though). I think AM can definitely clear the 100K mark; this album seems so much more hyped than the last 2.

Loving that Sun Don't Shine is still at #3 and even increasing.

I'm calling it now, Miley could get a consecutive #1 with Wrecking Ball. With a X Factor performance it would be a guaranteed smash.

Wonder if One Republic could end up in the top 10 eventually; would be brilliant if it does.

Errr...why does Matt Cardle (& Mel C) have a Spanish song together?  EDIT: Just listening to it now, I won't even hate, it's slightly brilliant. Still completely bewildered about it but oh well. Also, I thought it was a cover of Rihanna's Te Amo (). EDIT2: OH, it's a Spanish version of their own song. On the first listen, that's a pretty nice track as well.

 I see Gaga will continue the floppage from the last era... :teresa: OJ, Monsters, don't come for me. :friends:

I've been loving Sonnentanz (Sun Don't Shine) these past few weeks. Some absolutely superb deep house; up there with Baby by Ruidmental and MNEK.

2005 (their debut) - 2007 (2nd album) when they had their big single success I suppose. It's not like they lost popularity through the years though. Looking through their single peaks, I didn't reliase Crying Lightning came so close to the top 10; deserved #1 imo:(.

Imagine Capital FM playing Arctic Monkeys :w00t: :w00t: Will be listening to The Big Top 40 today then! Cannot wait to here this live in a few months.

The Wanted's new single is released on Sunday, with the music video premièring on Monday. SubNSPLoYb4

Flatline has been pushed back by 2 weeks. Maybe Radio 1 already knew about this and that could be why they didn't playlist them already. Was funny watching reading freak about it not getting playlisted though.

It's from their new EP, also called Melody Calling (a sort of bridge between their 2nd album and upcoming 3rd which is released next year). I think it's my favourite Vaccines single so far; either that, Wetsuit or If You Wanna. I adore Don't Drop That Thun Thun, mostly because of the hilarious Vines that have been posted for the past 2 months.

Monday. I can see Roar going top 10 (maybe 5) on pre-orders, especially if the music video is released before the UK release date.

28. Le Youth - C O O L 77. Kings of Leon - Supersoaker 156. MS MR - Think of You 258. Dillon Francis - Without You (feat. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs) 267. Fall Out Boy - Alone Together 731. Kavinsky - Odd Look (feat. The Weeknd) 1470. MGMT - Your Life Is a Lie  Wonder what Drake is gonna do with his new single; release it on Sunday or hold it back a few weeks.

Matt Edmondson for Chart host please! I'm in love with C O O L.

Omfg at Little Talks, keep going! Dance Apocalyptic by Janelle Monae is Scott Mills' (Radio 1 Breakfast show) record of the week. Here's hoping R1 fully support it in the upcoming weeks and Janelle can get her first lead top 40.

Dare I say it, the new single is even better.  Radio 1 will be definitely fully backing it (Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens, Phil & Allice and Greg James all rave about it) and I hope that will hopefully give Haim a top 20...? And imo the hype is still the same as even more people has got to know them since the start of the year thanks to the rave reviews for every track they (slowly) release and with them being more known as a pretty brilliant live act (they played Glastonbury 3 times!).

It was played on Sarah Cox's 10am - 1pm show earlier, that might of helped. Really nice track.

Body Music :( Thought it'd be doing better. Hopefully You Know You Like It will still top 40.
