I know it's not up to Radio 1, but the label, but I think they should send Radioactive to radios again/playlist Radioactive and hold on with the release of It's Time. Radioactive could be huge now that they've got more exposure and it's the better track imo. :wub:

And I'm very surprised Mirrors isn't on it, especially considering lessor recent hits like Boomerang has made it. Was hoping they'd put the radio edit on :(. White Noise radio edit is on though so that should get quite high.

Everything Is Embarrassing is the only real interesting (brand) new release this week imo. I was hoping that Chvrches could of got into the top 75 (top 40 actually) with Recover but that is highly unlikely now. :( Re-listened to the Everything Everything album last night, Duet is a brilliant track!

But you get generic music of all genres, all the time (in every music 'phase'/time period). I'm sure even during the indie rock phase, iirc around 2006 time when The Kooks, Kaiser Chiefs etc were doing very well, there were a lot of generic guitar driven/'indie' music. Was there a R&B phase in the UK; I know there was in the US around 2004-2007 but I'm not sure about over here..? I sure as hell know there was a lot of generic R&B type music in that time period. I was about to question how Adorn sounds anything like LMLY until I released you were talking about the original/the actual LMLY and not Ne-Yo's (Until You Learn To Love Yourself).

And I don't see why Pour It Up won't get a video. Rih already said that it will and there's meant to be the remix coming out in a few weeks so she might just release it at the same time as that.

It's obviously a promo song but imagine if it is released on Tuesday and blocks The Saturdays! :rofl: :rofl: I'm going to sound like Eric_Blob for a minute here; It's too urban to do any real damage in the UK anyway.

I hope they give Carly Rae Jepsen's new one, Tonight I'm Getting Over You, a chance. I just had a listen to it for the first time and it's really instant and it would work really well on the radio imo. Much better than The Kiss.

What, Bad Blood has already leaked? I'm waiting till I get my physical copy before I give it a listen, even though I've heard all but about 3 tracks previously.

This is how all releases should be handled imo. It's better than the instant on air on sale because at least there is some build up of airplay and hype but it is only being held back for just over a week (+it will be released at the start of the sales tracking week.) Lol, so technically it isn't a On air/On sale but still... :P I don't think they'll even get to #1 tbh. I'm not sure how well Stereophonics usually do when it comes to album sales but I can see them blocking Bastille. I have no idea when it comes to Dido either; has she still got a fan base?

Because Bastille are slaying the competition, and soon to be slaying JT when they knock him off the #1 spot with their 3% gains each update. People love Bastille and Pomeii and seem to hate Mirrors now that his Brit Awards performance has worn off so that is why Mirrors is now in red while Pompeii is in green. You should watch out because Bastille's Bad Blood album is being released on the 4th March and Justin's The 20/20 Experience is released 2 weeks after, Bastille might block Justin from getting the #1 album too if just a 5 track EP which is for £1.49 is staying at #1 soooooo long. :teresa: :teresa: #SARCASM #OTT :rolleyes:

AlunaGeorge are releasing their new single on the 10th March called Attracting Flies. It had its radio premiere on Zane Lowe's show and it's the hottest record. Such a brilliant track, just like every single other track they have released/done. :wub:

Chill dude. Even if Bastille somehow gets to #1 on the first mid week update the lead that Mirrors has, which is actually pretty big and stable, will claw it back for JT by Sunday. But now that you've put the idea of Bastille being #1... :w00t: :w00t::w00t: Come on Bastille, knock down JT!

Well Mirrors was #1 on the Big Top 40 show yesterday and every presenter on Capital mentions the show in some way so it might be possible for Capital to play Mirrors up to 4 times in a day.

Just downloaded the Pompeii EP, might go get the individual single too. :wub: :w00t: I kinda like the new Dido single; not that I slightly remember what it sounds like though :P. Green Garden is stunning, might as well purchase that while I'm at it.
