  1. I'm slightly confused when it comes to the iTunes chart and the percentages that we get. Does: actually mean that 1D are selling 25% less than Rihanna atm?
  2. I heard the new JLS single for the first time earlier on Radio 1. I wonder if they will support it.. I've got to give it to them, it's a much different direction from them sonically; Justin Timberlake-y. I'm not sure if I think it's complete tripe or genius (exagerration) yet though. Diamonds is Nick Grimshaw's R1 Breakfast shows "Big Thing" this week so he will be playing it everyday, and talking about it a bit more than he usually does with other songs. Get that 40% lead over 1D Rih! :w00t:
  3. :w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t: http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lstmirPH1W1qewmu6o1_500.gif
  4. COME ON RIHANNA! :P I went to check Kworb expecting 1D to have a 20% lead over #2 to see Rihanna getting ready to snatch it! :w00t:
  5. Is it way out of the picture if Rihanna jumps over 1D before they're able to get above Psy? :P
  6. So in what occasion do Official Charts have to combine tracks together? Cause I remember back when we used to get Tuesday updates sometimes there would be (I think) B-sides in the low top 40 and members would say that "they'll be combined for tomorrows official update" or something of that sort. Or am I just imagining this? :P
  7. I thought the Official Charts combine B-sides sales with the actual single?
  8. You should really give 'urban' UK fans more credit. :P If and when labels push these urban songs in the UK they tend to do relatively well. It's only because the labels usually pushes more pop singles over here which do well which make people think that if those artist ever release an 'urban' single it will flop. Saying that, I cannot imagine a Pop Kendric Lamar single. :P EDIT: Top 3 for 1D and #9 for Rihanna now. Diamonds for #1 in 2 weeks! :w00t: All depends on how Leona & SWM will do.

I think SOS and Umbrella went straight to #1 on release in the US. ^
  10. Lol, what? Cannot wait to see this.

    Lol, what? How?
  12. Born This Way was scheduled to be released on the Friday though. It was scheduled that way for quite a while as I remember the monsters going mad about her not getting a full week of sales in the US. I don't get why everyone thinks Diamonds will be held back. We should wait till Sunday to see if Def Jam simply waited for the new tracking week to release it and if it is not released, then mass tweet Rihanna to release it over here. :P
  13. If Def Jam gets Rihanna an iTunes banner on wednesday, I don't see why she wouldn't be able to get to #1 this week. I can see Capital and Radio 1 hammering it from the offset. Just because it's not going to be a dance-pop song doesn't mean that it won't be incredibly radio friendly. Even when all the other singles from a Rihanna album aren't that successfull, she is basically always guaranteed a massive lead single (Russian Roulette was under different circumstances).
  14. On the Scott Mills breakfast show last week he said that if he gets to #1 officially he'll come straight over to the UK. :w00t: :w00t: Live PSY performances in the UK!
  15. Did Fun. pefororm on Jonathan Ross last night? Yes at SN getting a new peak! We are Young to enter back into the top 40? :w00t: :P
  16. I'd love if there was a no-rap edit of that new Pitbull/Shaki track. :P Whenever I want to listen to it and I have just skip Pitbull's atrocious verses'. Eurgh
  17. So will the new One Direction song technically be an On Air/On Sale track? Is it possible for them to do a Price Tag (premiering and releasing the track and video at the same time) and become long-running top 10?
  18. Such as? The only one I can think of is 'Poison' by Nicole Scherzinger, but I'm not sure if that was there all week.
  19. Lol, stop being so melodramatic. :P How can these artists ruin 'dance' music when the music they make is not in fact pure/real dance music (or house etc), rather dance-pop. Dance and house music seems to be having a come-back in the past year, and about time. (I say 'come back' but I'm not even sure if it ever was very popular in the past...).
  20. On Thursday we might be getting a remix of Rihanna's Cockiness (I love it), featuring A$AP Rocky. It's likely that she will be performing it at the VMA's on Thursday night/Friday morning (UK time) too. Obviously it won't do crap in the UK.
  21. YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!
  22. Has Alicia Key's new single been released? Hopefully it can become a top 3 hit. I'd only see it happening if she performs on X Factor though.
  23. What advert is Avalon played on? The one when he tells his fans to turn down their music or the alcohol one?
  24. For some reason I feel like it's been sampled multiple of times in loads of songs. Or it might just be because I've heard this same melody so many times in the past few years. How so?
  25. Multiple artists (including all the artists that has been discussed recently) would LOVE to be a singles artist that sells over 900,000 copies of an album in a "flop" era. But I suppose selling ~1,800,000 singles in one era is pretty bad for a singles artist. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/777ff663.gif
