  1. Pretty sure that's it for Goodbye25; another ship has sailed (unless, of course, whatever they have on the table in 2024 will be how it's acknowledged somehow)
  2. Just came here to say that EVERYONE forgot about the Junior Vasquez Remix of Wannabe. I don't understand how something so in demand could be overlooked. Seriously, people. Get. It. Togetha'! :teresa:
  3. My eyes, my ears! :drama: :teresa:
  4. Agreed: they're going to have to load Forever up with enough bonus material for me to buy it. And if there is any justice, they will also update that dreadful cover where half of them look exhausted and Spice-less. Given how half-arsed and uninspired Spiceworld25 was (not to mention the complete ignoring of the movie), they really only have one way to go from this: it can't be any worse than that wasted opportunity to properly celebrate one of the greatest pop records in history.
  5. I love this song - it has become a radio staple here in Canada. I hear it on the radio (yes, I still listen to the radio  ) at least once a week!
  6. I've been *fairly* convinced over the last couple of weeks that they have a tour that's been green-lit for 2024. At least, it's green lit as of today (12:37pm EST on Nov 28th); I'm hesitant on getting too :yahoo: ... because you know, "A girl's allowed to change her mind." I'm quoting Melanie C obviously, but I'm not referring to her. :teresa:
  7. I just saw it; she does have that mischievous look about her and whomever filmed that certainly went out of their way to make sure we all knew without a DOUBT that she was brewing ginger LOL
  8. I think what we're dealing with now, is that their music is just not the focal point: it's branding - they can call it nostalgia (or whatever) - but it comes off as minimal effort for $. When I get nostalgic for this group, I think of their music and togetherness as a 5-piece: and they are serving neither of those. But when they do, I will be on board (even if it's a 4 piece).
  9. Thanks for sharing: I enjoy that channel!
  10. If by remixes, you mean the ALWAYS in-demand Junior Vasquez Remix of Wannabe, then I believe you would be correct. :teresa:
  11. I agree; it's aged very well!
  12. Interesting to see 'Follow Me" added as the last track!
  13. That's a shame. The world was a simpler and happier place then.
  14. “There will be a time when, you know, the girls, the other girls get together and that will be amazing and I will always love - we have such fun, so yeah” Thanks for sharing Jay. You can see her shifting in her seat when asked about a reunion -- it's pretty clear when you read between the lines. I still believe, that if Wembley was still on her bucket list, this year and next would have panned out differently.
  15. Melanie has been giving, giving, giving all year - it's so nice to see all of the passion she still has for music!
  16. :w00t: This brought me to a full-on visceral cackle this morning. Thank you!
  17. Since this is the last run where I feel I can hold out hope for more than just a couple unreleased tracks, I'll continue to hope that two of the girls can be convinced to get on board with the other three to unlock the vaults for some time of release before the anniversary of Forever. I'm still not convinced that Forever25 will even happen -- SPICE25 did relatively well, but the momentum around SW25 was pretty much dead on arrival, and by the time 2025 comes around, I don't see much "oomph" left from the fan base, nor do I see Geri wanting to get behind an era that didn't involve her. She barely acknowledged SW25 which was the PEAK of their world domination.
  18. You forgot the obligatory inclusion of the ALWAYS in-demand Junior Vasquez Remix of Wannabe. :teresa: Jay: if you're reading this, support me LOL
  19. *Envisioning that fabulous picture of her on the promo poster as the photo of her behind one of the SPICE letters for a future release*. Manifest it, bitches. It's our only hope at this point.
  20. ^ Agreed! And I'm glad the interviewer commented about how Mel looks like a "woman in love" -- she's got this glowing smile about her. If it were solely up to Mel B, we'd have everything we've been wanting from the SGs and then some. :cheer:
  21. That's all I want. Either that, or, some separate type of release with all of the decent unreleased songs we know of already, or think we know of. I'd always be game for a new Forever cover to replace that drab one we got; but if they all need to be on board with projects, there's no way Gerita will support an era that didn't involve her. If we don't get anything for Goodbye25 ... it's a missed opportunity to close things out nicely. The title is ALREADY there for Pete's sake. They just need to do something ... and please, no more additions to hoodie-gate.
  22. I think it was, but, I can't confirm for sure. All I can find is this: (all the way at the bottom)
  23. That album title, I remember, was actually mentioned on radio stations here in Canada a few times once Goodbye hit the airwaves. I'm pretty sure I have a cassette recording of one of the radio plays of Goodbye that says "that was Goodbye by the now 4-piece Spice Girls, taken from their forthcoming album The Great Divide, due out in summer 1999." Wow. That makes me sad. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but, she's wrong on IYWHSF -- it definitely woke me up (a bit) when I played Forever from start to finish the first time.
  24. Isn't the third track called "If Ya Do" ?
