  1. You can stop the sentence right there. : ) There's NO WAY that Melanie C isn't making the finale.
  2. For me, the live version of Headlines is the only version worth playing. I'll give them credit for breathing life into the live version of it!
  3. I have all the time in the world for this. :w00t:
  4. You've got that right. How utterly miserable. Even from an artistic standpoint, Mel B's photograph is arguably the most stunning of the five. Mel B knows we love her though!
  5. That's a neat idea! I'd be down for that. I still wish they would have released NGUOTGT instead of Headlines in 2007. Imagine them resurrecting a song (that song especially) a decade after it was released, during a time with DenDen crashed because of how much traffic it was getting for the reunion? :yahoo: Good times. Pun intended.
  6. If they want to release a demo as an online exclusive, great. Go to YouTube and play it, or whatever. Why waste space on CD2 of SPICE25 with demos? That's my point. And if you're GOING to put a demo on the CD, choose one that is at least somewhat different from the final product. Sure, as a fan, it can be interesting to compare a demo to a final product, but, it would be more compelling for me to buy something that carried more incentive for my ears.
  7. I've played the WDYTYA demo five times. And I will never play it again. Who in the eff thought that releasing an INFERIOR version of a #1 SINGLE that almost single-handedly brought disco back into the 90's pop landscape was a good idea? I'm seriously asking.
  8. Agreed 100%. Going into this, I'm betting Melanie C & JoJo will definitely make the finale. We know Melanie C can dance so as long as JoJo can perform well, they are shoe-ins.
  9. Agreed 100% Jay. I think I played One of These Girls twice on my 2B1 single. However, I do find the lyrics appropriate for VB's general absence for anything SG related: "One of these girls is doin' their own thing / Oh oh / One of these girls is just not the same." :teresa:
  10. Same! It's so refreshing to have that person who just calls things out for what or who they really are. Over their 25+ years, Mel B and Emma have been the most TeamSpice, so when either of them makes a jab at another member like this, I always feel like the one they are jabbing has stalled certain SG-related projects. It's funny in a way, because, if Ginger didn't snap in 1998, we would have had a solid third record, and we wouldn't be here, 20 years on, clinging to any shred of hope that they'll release SOMETHING vaulted from 1998/1999 because we don't even need to hear those songs to know that they are better than 90% of Forever. #SueMe
  11. I think I'm out of the loop; is the Kennedy bridge burned because of the Forever leaks, or was the bridge burned before then?
  12. That is not what I meant. -_- What I meant was, maybe they chose non-Spice album outtakes for Spiceworld 25. Or for something else that we don't even know about yet. To me, 'dipping into the archives' is a broad thing to say, especially when there are archives for every recording session they've done. For example, I think we all know that they've at least re-listened to WOMAN this year after Emma quoted the lyrics to Mel B on social media. For Emma (forgetful Spice) to use those lyrics, means they played it more than once, and were clearly listening to unreleased songs independent of whichever era they were recorded in. And to be frank, if they were truly responsible for creating CD2 on Spice25, I wouldn't put anything past them in terms of questionable decisions at this stage.
  13. Signed. Unless...and this is a BIG "if" ... maybe they HAVE picked actual unreleased songs but they will be for Spiceworld 25. Wishful thinking? :teresa:
  14. You forgot: MUMMY WAS A POPSTAR :mansoncheer:
  15. OMG we are getting WOMAN. :cheer: But it's a demo version of a demo that is an instrumental only. :teresa:
  16. #TeamMelB :cheer:
  17. I think she will; Emma, Mel B, and Melanie C were always the best dancers so she's well suited to this. I don't want to get my hopes up too much (it's a pun, get it? :teresa: ), but, since the SG are creatures of habit when it comes to group activities, I smell a tour announcement similar to when Mel B had her turn ...
  18. Is it though? I really enjoy Melanie C but she has a history of leaving really strong tracks off of her standard version albums. :teresa:
  19. Seriously love that Melanie C did this! *love* [afterthought] So THAT'S what she was doing while that terrible SPICE25 tracklist was being assembled. :teresa:
  20. I feel like they should have released the SPICEWORLD version of SYBT. Instead we get a watered down version of the album version. Da fuk.
  21. Agreed! (I also can't stand sheeran, so that makes me even more bitter LOL; I at least liked Run DMC/Nevins so blocking Stop was easier to swallow) Of all the B-sides ... Take Me Home was a great choice, but ... ONE OF THESE GIRLS. Seriously!? :( With regards to remixes, are we sure there are plenty of unreleased ones? I was always under the impression that the SG never had many commissioned to begin with. School me if I'm wrong, Jay. B-)
  22. Things? What are these 'things' you speak of? :teresa:
  23. Yes. That's it, that's the post.
  24. Good ol' Shanghai Surprize. That also reminds me of the mix they did for Pavement Cracks by Annie Lennox. :cheer: I know they also did a mix of Geri's Desire; it was ok, but there's a warble effect they use in there that I just can't fully get behind.
