Your favourite Spice Girls/Solo Remixes
I'm big into remixes; well, I was moreso when remixes were of higher quality in the 90s and 2000s. That was also when I would DJ at clubs and such. As for group remixes, I like Junior Vasquez' mix of Wannabe The radio edit of Who Do You Think You Are (it's got some nice touches compared to the album cut) Ralphi Rosario's Mix of Spice Up Your Life As for solo, my hands down #1 is 7th Heaven Remix of Melanie C's Think About It Honourable mention goes to The Full Intention Sultra Mix of Emma's Free Me and all of the official remixes for Crickets Sing For Annamaria.

Spice Girls - 'Greatest Hits'
I agree -- during Spice Mania, it would have been a #1 likely. They probably thought....we are so busy, meh, we have a couple more albums coming to get more #1s. :cheer: Well we all know how that turned out :teresa:

Ooooof. That was a read. I can see it in the Headlines now. *looks at the camera* It's a pun, get it? :funky:

Spice Girls - 'Spice 25'
Hm, maybe Spice 25 will have Feed Your Love, Likely Stories, Step To Me, and a bunch of demo versions of some of the album tracks? Don't get me wrong, I'd love if WOMAN and the other 1998/1999 tracks landed on Spice 25, but, without really knowing what Melanie C and Biff mean by them "going into the archives" -- it's all just speculation I guess. I'm sure the clamouring for WOMAN has been clear on Spice Circle, and if the label is monitoring it, all we can do is hope that they listen and give us what Forever failed to deliver. Not to digress too much, but I still really think that album title and cover are horrendous. The only sensical part in hindsight for me, is that we've been waiting FOREVER for the unreleased tracks from that era. Maybe it will be a self-fulfilling prophecy. :teresa:

Spice Girls - 'Spice 25'
Wow. I'm floored that it takes such a low level of sales these days to chart. That's crazy compared to the quantities of album sales from the 90s! If Spice 25 has unreleased tracks, I'm sure universal will exceed their own expectations. And on that note, if universal monitors Spice Circle ... That seems like the easiest way for fans to state which unreleased tracks we want to buy. :yahoo: It's exciting because we've never had an "in" before.

Mel B - 'Hot'
To be honest, the radio edit for BF/GF has so many sound effects thrown in every time a profane lyric comes up, the SGs probably would have just made that edited version the ONLY version. They were on school lunchboxes at the time so there's no way that "bone" would have been a lyric they ever sang (not as a verb anyway) :teresa:

I just took a moment to be mindful of the fact that WE LIVE IN A WORLD WHERE SOMEONE'S GARAGE CAN BE ON AN ONLINE AUCTION SITE. :w00t:

Melanie C - 'The Sea'
Same! The 7th Heaven Remix is the only version that I play -- it elevates the song to perfection for me!

Your mention of a 4th album got me thinking: does anyone remember how many albums the spice girls owed Virgin in their contract from the 90s? I might be not remembering this correctly but I remember on an interview in Canada, it may have been on much music, they said 4 albums. Then when the GH was released in 2007 I seem to recall a separate interview or article that said the GH counted as album #4. Does anyone remember the T on this?

What do you mean by 'boost' their discography? Do you mean strictly sales? (To me, boosting a discography means adding more published work to what already exists, and aside from an album of unreleased tracks, I don't see that happening).

Mel B - 'Hot'
YES! That edit is shit. And it's the version that plays in my car through my mp3 player. Thanks for reminding me to change that!

Spice Girls - 'Spice 25'
Agreed! Mel B sounds beautiful on this song -- very reminiscent of Feel Me Now. Could you imagine Posh Geri's reaction to the lyrics today though!? :o I also agree in that I don't think Feed Your Love is The Chizz' cup o' tea. However, the fact that she allowed that track to be released, says to me that we're going to get many more, especially as she's been the "b-sides are b-sides for a reason girl" circa 1999. I'm sure her vocals are going to be prominent on at least one of the forthcoming archived treats. Can't wait to hear more! MOAR! :w00t:

Spice Girls - 'Spice 25'
Two points to that comment: (A) Shame they won't continue with a '25' series of singles. Here's a no-brainer tracklist for SYBT that involves 5 minutes of thought: 1. Single Mix w/ Mel B's Full Rap 2. Spiceworld Remix 3. Junior's Main Pass (you know, because it's "in demand" and all). :teresa: 4. Likely Stories (B) Not sure why they would bother pushing Feed Your Love with a video of all things. If they want us to react strongly, give us a 4th album of unreleased material. They can't expect fans to get behind things if they can't be arsed to acknowledge it much in the first place. However, I think most fans are happy with simply getting the track after all these years. At least it's one less track that the elite can complain-a-brag about having. #SueMe

Spice Girls - 'Spice 25'
I'm curious about the same thing. I see it going one of two ways: 1) Spice 25 has Feed Your Love + other unreleased tracks from all 3 studio albums 2) Spice 25 has Feed Your Love + unreleased tracks from Spice. Any other goodies from Spiceworld or 1999 will then materialize some other way. 3) none of the above and I'm wrong and hopefully pleasantly surprised with whatever it is that's coming

Spice Girls - 'Spice 25'
Agreed. But we know how the Spice Girls work; they do the bare minimum because they know their fans will do it for them. Hence Fan Friday. Aside from them listening to their archived material before we ultimately get our hands on it, I'll be surprised if they bother doing one iota of work until the alleged Spice rerelease.

I see two things wrong with that sentence :teresa:

Maybe it's about Chlamydia? :teresa: I mean, I say this after hearing the lyrics to Feed Your Love ... :)

Never Give Up on the Good Times - Appreciation Thread
This song is the Spiceworld equivalent of Who Do You Think You Are. It's dripping in disco chords -- I love it!

Spice Girls - 'Spice 25'
You mean the elite ones who have the 1999 demo tracks? And the ones who have had Feed Your Love since 2015-ish? <_<

Feed Your Love - Opinions Poll!
Wait. VB sang in Holler!? KIDDING. I know what you mean. :teresa: Whenever I hear VB on Forever, I have this vision of her picking up the vocoder from Out Of Your Mind and saying "hey girls, let's sing into this thing and give it a go? see what comes out."

Yes! Yes to all of this!

1) How is the first lyric sarcastic? 2) I think Oxygen has some pretty moments. But what in heaven's name is Golden Shower!? (Outside of porn...I'm seriously asking)

Spice Girls - 'Spice 25'
Interesting, Outer Space Girls is one of my favourites! I thought it was such a wacky over the top song and the girls were so huge at that time, it really made sense to me that they were trying to take over the rest of the solar system. :yahoo:
