  1. Emma's comment about Oxygen: agreed, fully! Melanie's comment about Time Goes By: girl. Delusion; convince yourself. That song is (a) nowhere near the quality of 2B1, Too Much, or Goodbye, (b) on an album that signaled the end of the 4 piece, and © if b-sides are b-sides for a reason...I think Time Goes By is the perfect place to start. I said. What I said. :teresa:
  2. She doesn't!? This is the first I've heard of this (actually the first time I've heard of any of the girls saying anything about IYWHSF -- is it mentioned in her book?)
  3. Watching back that 2019 stadium performance of Holler -- Melanie, Mel and Emma are great dancers, but it's a reminder of Mel B's prowess in this category. She just naturally oozes energy when she's dancing -- like she's in charge of the music, and not the other way around. Gerita. "Ok, so Geri ... the other three are going to have some specific choreo, you're just going to stand in once place and stomp your feet and raise an arm occasionally." And tea. Drink tea in the middle.
  4. Finnnnnnnnnnnnnne, you twisted my arm: I'll give it another go... :rap:
  5. That word is a choice, but, ok! :teresa:
  6. Apparently only two of them are. :teresa:
  7. For a group that conquered charts around the world with "so tell me what you want, what you really really want", they have zero clue as to what their fans want.
  8. This. Could you imagine if THAT was her last official single? At least she stopped on a high with LYHG/TG.
  9. Seems that a lot of things went belly-up simultaneously around (and likely before) the time LYHG / TG was released. Perfect storm coupled with (what I would call) the peak of the anti-Spice movement by the press.
  10. If it's true that she resents her solo music career, so be it. I'm also not surprised, seeing as how she gave it zero attention during the ROTSG tour (neither did Mel B, but that probably had more to do with her manipulative spouse at the time than anything; but I digress). I find it interesting (and comical) that with the 2019 tour announcement, she was like "screw all of you, I'm not going on tour, and OH YEAH I'M GOING TO SEE IF I CAN COMPLETELY WIPE MY SOLO CAREER OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH BECAUSE I WILL NEED A PROJECT WHILE I'M NOT GOING ON TOUR WITH YOU". As if the 2019 tour was going to reinvigorate attention to her solo music. I just don't see the logic there -- unless she thought that some kind of compilation was looming that would feature some solo material from each of the girls? Who knows!
  11. The only CD from VB that I own is the Let Your head Go/This Groove single. Playing it out really doesn't get tired because it showcases two sonic styles for her that work better together than her entire debut album, in my opinion. I said. What I said.
  12. Agreed, the vibe is not the T. But I find that this "division" amongst us fans often occurs because the SGs are divided themselves -- and any discussions regarding their solo projects naturally move along separate lines that can lead to conflict, especially when coupled with the fact that as a group, they produced quality music together for such a short period of time, that we are often forced to feast on scraps, so to speak. :friends:
  13. Since the 2019 SW Tour, it really has been so nice to see her fully 'fit' into her own skin. Prior to that, her solo endeavours were patchy, and random. Everything she does now seems to bring her so much consistent joy, and that's clearly resonating with the crowds that see her live at these events.
  14. That's ... a lot of emotion from seeing the Barbie movie. It's the new Titanic.
  15. She's still got star quality, that's for sure. The media did her so dirty for painting her as a "terrible" vocalist: she was never trying to be a Celine Dion -- she just happened to be the last SG to put out a solo record. I've always found her voice quite pleasant. VB leaves no crumbs on Love Thing.
  16. PS: #BuyThisTime
  17. Don't make me say it, Jay. :kink:
  18. That water bottle better be made out of glass, bitch. :dancing:
  19. This resonated with me, too. Wannabe25 was such a simple release with a short tracklisting that gave us more unreleased sought-after material than S25 and SW25. Maybe someone in their team at Universal pitched the stress ball idea because they knew how we'd react to the rest.
  20. Oh, I haven't had the opportunity to hear that one, so I can't really support or refute this opinion. :coffee:
  21. Which 'good ones', exactly?
  22. You've been bookmarked. :whip:
  23. I can hardly contain my excitement. :coffee:
  24. Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitch....that was good.
  25. Completely agree! :cheer:
