  1. She posted it ages ago, it's called Sun Will Rise Again :D
  2. Trevor Horn and Will's usual producer Steve Lipson are friends, they play in the same group along with Chris Braide. Steve had a recording studio not far away in Willesden Green, but I have a feeling he sold it. It's possible that he's using Trevor Horn's place now if he's working with Will, or maybe it was Chris & Will together, Sunday found a new song they'd written. ;)

Exactly. Will is playing to a brand new audience, something he perhaps thought he'd never have the chance to do. He, I hope, has moved on since he wrote KO. He doesn't want to introduce this new audience to his old stuff, he wants to say, "Oi, look at me, this is what I'm all about now". And if he does that, before he releases his new album, I think he's making a huge mistake. He needs to get his new stuff out there and promote it when people are able to buy it, not months before when they've probably forgotten about him and what he sang at TITP. ;) So, if I was a gambling woman ;) I'd say he'll have this album out in June. He'll have done an album launch. Hopefully good things will have been said about his new stuff and the audience at TITP will have already heard the new lead single over several weeks of airplay, and be responsive to what else he might have on the album :D

Yes, it might, but I'm prepared to wait and see what the official line is, rather than accept that release schedule which already has one glaring error on it. :D And as I've said over the road, I can't believe that Will would not take the first opportunity he's had in 6 years, to play outside his usual pop genre, to promote NEW material that hasn't at least had some exposure to the public beforehand. I maybe completely wrong of course, maybe he'll risk it and debut completely unheard new tracks at these festivals, maybe he'll just do tracks from his back catalogue, which I think would be a massive mistake, as I said above, I'm prepared to wait and see. :D

I'm wondering if that's exactly what might happen. Usher has a single out now and his album isn't due until June, so it looks like he'll have a two singles pre album set up, and he's a huge artist, AND he's already done the same in the US. ;)

Seeing as the very first release date on that list is wrong (Sandi Thom is definitely releasing may 26th) then personally, I set no more store by Sept being correct than any of the other rumoured dates we've had so far . :(
  7. I feel exactly like you do at the moment. The excitement that I felt with the updates on the OS and the new track at the Brits, turned to disappointment when nothing further happened, and right now, I just feel indifferent about the whole thing. The excitement's long since gone, and as you say, the joy went with it even the disappointment has passed now as well, and my mind's turned to other things, notably getting out in the garden and planning the Summer planting, if only the flipping weather would improve. :D
  8. Added to that of course, there was the new song at the Brits, so I've been very positive that the album would ne released late May/ early June. But, as each week passes and there's been no official release date announced, I'm beginning to have my doubts. There was a 10 week gap between the announcememnt and release of KO, so I would expect about that time difference again. so I've now said goodbye to a May release and if we don't hear anything by the end of this month, I think I'll discount June too. I'm even beginning to wonder if they'll pull the interview in the Waitrose mag and publish it in a later edition :( The only consolation is, we know for definite that at least we will be getting a new album, so better late than never as they say. :)
  9. Neither have most of the paps by the looks of things, because the poor sod never gets a namecheck, even though he is quite a well known young actor. A relationship like that one would always be doomed, when both parties have equally important careers, but only one ever gets a mention. ;) I'm sure they're just mates anyway. Russell has been pictured with Will on a few occasions, just like Ash & MG have. :D
  10. I diidn't think he liked them much, not after that one bolted with him on it in Mexico (which happened to me once too, and put me off of ever wanting to get on a horse again) I've said over on D, it's probably a necessary skill for his acting CV, the more skills an actor has, the more parts there are available. :D
  11. You could well be right. They might have thought he'd front them out over the air, which, I wouldn't have put past him to be honest. I think he'd enjoy causing a bit of controversy given the chance :D Maybe his management thought the same and decided to remove him from temptation ;) To be honest, all I want to hear about is the new album, all these fripperies and distractions get on my wick
  12. Congratulations from me too. It's my eldest son's bithday today :D
  13. I guess what had happened as soon as I saw that the info had come from the New Release scedule, that's why I posted over there not to get hopes up, anyways, although I think the Brit song is probably the new single, I can't see it being called Changes, never in a million years :D
  14. I maybe in the minority and it would probably result in fewer sale, but I really wish that Will would be allowed to get out there and 'sing for his supper' so to speak, that's what he does best. I hate any reliance on slots on prime time TV shows . I hope the music is good enough to get the necessary radio play, but I much prefer a singer goes the Duffy route than the Leona Lewis one, even if they don't sell as much. BTW, I know that Duffy has also had a couple of good tv slots ;) but God forbid SBMG do a Leona with Will, where it's all about tv and f' all to do with gigging for the fans.
  15. I'm beginning to think we imagined that there was a small snippet of Will's new music played at the Brits. Not a flipping mention of it since on the OS, yet I thought that, if it wasn't the curtain raiser to announce the new album (which obviously it wasn't  ) then at least there could have been something posted asking if we heard it and hoping we enjoyed it. Anything really, except treating it like it never even happened. :arrr:
  16. It was very windy down here in London too, not enough to do structural dammage I wouldn't think, but I'm glad I wasn't out in it ;)
  17. Put's a whole different slant on it now. I think I'll cross this one off the list, it's Will's own stuff I'm waiting to hear about , so I'll just go back to waiting for a while longer :P
  18. Ah, that's alright then, it's always nice when you can hear something yourself and others can too:D I know Eg was responsible for shiver, so although I don't really know the James Morrison tracks, I would say judging by the three I do know, then three piece suit is probably on the ball with her connection to Eg White Editing to add: I've just seen the thread in Reviews over on D. I swear I hadn't seen it before I posted on here because I now see that someone else had already pointed out the resemblance to Shiver and you had too TT. I wasn't jumping on the bandwagon, honest, but it just shows, that there really is a similarity then.
  19. I didn't realise that Eg had a hand in Chasing Pavements, because strangely enough, although the two songs aren't really alike, Chasing Pavements is the song 'Changes' reminds me of. I start to hum Changes and then I go off into CP :D Natalie Imbruglia's 'Shiver' is another one Changes bought to mind, although it might have more to do with my hearing than anything else, who knows? :P
  20. Me too :yahoo:  :cheer: :w00t:

I feel a bit sorry for Adele. Even before she picks up her Brit on Wednesday, for best newcomer or something, she's already been overtaken by Duffy. Adele has a good voice, but Duffy's got the material and I think this time next year, she'll be picking up best female at the Brits.

He has a lot of friends amongst the designers, so It's not suprising he'd be invited to a lot of these do's. Last night's host at the Burberry party, Christopher Bailey, is a friend of Wills :D

That he has a passion for shoes and hats maybe? ;) Glad to hear that you're feeling a little better chrysalis
